Britannic - Patroness of the Mediterranean - End of The Final Plunge Video

The final plunge from the new simulation game, Britannic Patroness of the Mediterranean. There is about 15-25 minutes of slow sinking before this. I was definitely taken off guard by a few things, especially how quick the sinking is once the water clears the bow.
This was my first play through of the sinking, sorry about the choppiness. Support the developers, buy the game!

Just imagine you're the only person on the ship with nothing but a smartphone or a GoPro and you start filming the sinking, risking your own life trying to capture this historic moment? Sure you would be called stupid, brave, or both, but it would be such an unique experience that it was a miracle that you survived it at all.

@@ginnrollins211 well if it would actually happen then they would have to light and feed coal to the 159 boilers in britannic which needed over 100 people to do, also they would have to run down to the reciprocating engine room to start up the engines and if they needed to move the ship astern or ahead they had to make trips to the engine room, plus you are sailing a 40,000 ton ship in the middle of a war alone, plus assuming they are not familiar with some waters or stuff in the water that they are sailing in so many dangers lie ahead like mines, shallow waters, etc, plus the effort of filming with your smartphone would all go to waste cause there were none in 1916, so you would be called a total idiot anyways for staying too close to a sinking ship to film with a non existant handheld device

For those who don’t know, at 4:45, because the Britannic was nearly 900 ft long, and sank in roughly 400 ft of water, the bow struck the seabed while the stern was still on the surface.

That can be true as the survivors witness her sinking. But while she was sinking, she listed on her starboard side just like the Lusitania did a year ago on the Irish coast. And it's sad that both of our ships RMS LUSITANIA and HMHS BRITANNIC could not survive these terrible years of World War 1 and now our two historical ships rest together with the RMS TITANIC in their watery grave. ⚰️RIP 🚢Titanic, 🚢Lusitania and 🚢Britannic 🌅

This is almost like the sinking of the RMS LUSITANIA when she was sinking on her listing starboard side in just 18 minutes. As for BRITANNIC she was sinking in the same direction as LUSITANIA did, but in a different way and she just had 55 minutes of sinking. It's never fun to be on sinking ships especially what can happen to you?

Didn’t the first 2 funnells collapse just before the water reached their base, survivors testimony, showed that the funnels fell, one after the other, and didn’t fall in the way they did in this video

Unfortunately, no. However you can peer inside the windows and see water filling rooms which is kind of nice. The rooms are super low poly, but provided some depth to the game.

It had a moderate speed, the white Star line preferred comfort over velocity. But in WW1 the Britannic was a Hospital-ship, not so comfy, I think.

The water tight doors were jammed open by the flexing of the ship due to the Explosion from the mine, suddenly turning one breached compartment into 6+.
