One of my favorite things to do in Gibbs Hill is knock down those two tall townhome lots and replace them with identical University Housing lots specifically for the Secret Society (which is indeed possible), one for each of the campuses. It really sends home the idea of Gibbs Hill being neutral territory for the two campuses.

Pretty cool. That kind of reminds me of something I like to do with Gibbs Hill: in all my save files, I bulldoze the blah white starter home and replace it with my University Student Hangout nightclub build, called The Dragon's Flagon. My backstory for the build is that The Dragon's Flagon has been catering to the more party-inclined members of Britechester's student population ever since UBrite was founded, but in recent years, many Foxbury students have been insisting that the nightclub change its name, claiming that the name "Dragon's Flagon" shows favoritism to their rivals. However, many UBrite students counter that the nightclub is a historic place in Britechester and therefore its name shouldn't be changed. The nightclub itself is decorated with both UBrite and Foxbury pennants and posters. I guess my idea was to present Gibbs Hill more like contested territory between the rival universities rather than neutral territory, and to show a bit about how the rivalry might affect the local inhabitants and businesses of Britechester

I still enjoy playing with this pack but I'm also still disappointed with all the rabbit hole events especially for the graduation ceremony. At least I always throw a graduation party afterwards to try make up for it.

I will note that the long circiular paths around the campus are excellent for bike rides, and bikes in general are just super nice to have around the campus for getting to class quickly. Man! I wish there were more lots around Gibbs Hill but I guess that is about right for the vibe of a University town to not have that much housing around it.

Handel :), good call on the bike rides! and I totally agree that a bit more housing around Gibbs Hill would have been nice. Once you account for the library and the pub there isn't really many lots left for residential lots.

The fishing shore in foxburry also allows access for sims to swim in the canal. Additionally if you are attending university the food at you universities commons is free. If you are just visiting you can purchase the same meals for full price.

I could be wrong, but I think yarn-bombing the university statues might be cross-pack compatibility with Nifty Knitting

Foxbury debug is great for alien builds. Sadness that you can't explore the castle ruins in the background. I've never explored the secret societies. Do they meet there?

Does anyone know if the Guest Lectures actually do anything for your sim (other than complete the Academic aspiration)? I've wondered that from time to time but you just reminded me that I've always wondered if there is a reason to pay in both time and money to attend them if not doing the aspiration.

Guest lectures increase your sim's skills. It's helpful when you want your sim to gain some archaeology skill before they go traipsing through Selvadorada's jungle destroying artifacts. It's also useful for storytelling if you want your sim to work a job the unis don't offer a distinguished degree for (like a veterinarian), want them to develop some skill, and still want them to have a degree in a related field (for realism, uni experience, or just to say you have it).

Totally unrelated but I was playing sims4 on my laptop all of a sudden I couldn’t because my vram is low. I have 128mb vram and sims need 1gb but it was working perfectly well before . Do y’all have any solution or consolation?😭
