Always loved it when they go for full throttle and the engines spin up with sudden rush forward.
@miguelsyoutube6375 Жыл бұрын
I appreciate that too, but on the flights that I've been on, the acceleration is much more gradual. I assume that the pilot doesn't want to startle any already nervous passengers.
@Kestrel0294 ай бұрын
It's probably never even full throttle, but reduced a bit to save on engine wear.

pilot would usually put in 40-50% power and allow both engines to equalize before putting more power on the trttle. its part of the takeoff procedure innit

I never ceased to be amazed at how those engines shove 300+ tons so hard and so fast down that runway. The noise they generate is icing on the cake!

The 777 somehow manages to sound powerful and classy at the same time. It roars just enough to let you know it’s powerful, yet is very quiet for passengers during cruise

The strength in those wings to carry so many tonnes of aircraft is just amazing, not to mention how much they flex! In destructive testing they can flex up to and even beyond 45 degrees! Awesome engineering, however, in another 80 years or so it will be looked at as if was one of the very first cars of 100 years ago! Food for thought…

Beautiful. The engines are so powerful but quiet. But take-off is so very exciting. And the views of London are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing this marvellous experience with us. 😊

In my personal opinion these are the best high bypass engines ever produced as of yet, being technically still more powerful than the new X models. One of these engines has more thrust than a Boeing 707's 4 engines combined its incredible.

NO WAY would I ever ride in a plane that has it's engines flopping around like that !!! NOPE
@tommegg84868 ай бұрын
With engine that big, no flopping around would terrify me even more. Either the engine pylon is made out of vibranium or weight more than the plane itself
@zacthe1st4558 ай бұрын
If anything, they're designed to have some flex within them. If the entire wing assembly was rigid they'd snap off. The flexibility actually makes them stronger
@lolalorena9905 ай бұрын
I think your bias is due to the fact that it is a Boeing. In Airbuses the engines also move like this, but it is the power they have to lift the plane.
