Looks like a great show! Thanks for taking us along for a quick look around. To be honest, I thought you might be a little too ambitious, Saige, trying to get your car to this show. I ekpy my fingers crossed for you, but am not surprised or disappointed. Better to slow down and do it right, than to do it fast and end up doing it twice! (Insert voice of experience here.) Take inspiration and motivation from the show. And I hope you "find" your Spit's engine soon! Meanwhile, make yourself a meticulous, step by step engine assembly check list. That can make the process go a lot more smoothly and help avoid mistakes. Every model of engine is a bit different, so consult with people who have experience with Spitfires for any tips they might be able to offer.... Folks like Elin Yakov (Rusty Beauties) and Chris Fisher (Roundtqil Restoration on YT).

missed this one. went to london airshow. if the air show doesn't coincide with british car day next year, i'll be there. ps there's a farmer in woodstock with a barn load of spitfire parts. if you need parts - he will have it. comment if you need and i will give you his contact. cheers.
