Hi Michael, yes, the British Colonial property is not yet reOpened so their pool is still currently closed. They are offering passes to the private beach, use of lounge chairs, umbrellas, daybeds, bar service is open, and restroom facilities are open for Day pass guests.

Is this hotel open for cruise passengers for a day at the beach? I have read that the hotel is closed...

Hi Chris, The British Colonial resort is currently closed for overnight accommodations. The property owners are offering a "Beach Day Pass" for guest to enjoy the resorts private beach, with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels provided for day pass guest. Restroom facilities, and beach bar service are also available.
