Great Song and Performance! The Song is about someone who hurts himself! So Violence against oneself! At the End, when he gets out of the Bathtub, he is a new Person after all the Violence against himself. Great Lyrics and a great Show! Good Reaction! 👍

Sorry, the chorus of 'Ich Tu Dir Weh' was never performed live, always playback. Till could not guarantee getting the notes - it apparently took a *lot* of takes in the studio to get it right. There is quite a lot of playback used in R+ concerts, but really, who cares? A show so technically complicated and computer controlled has to be reliable and the value for money is off the charts. Just brilliant live, GOAT.

You are correct. Although, there are fan videos of early tour shows, where Till sings the chorus live and has a hard time with the high notes. There are also some videos where you can hear that he sings over a backing track and this is what he did for the Madison Square Garden show, too. But for the official DVD mix I guess the playback track was taken (only for the chorus!). Other backing track songs are the ones with hefty screams (like e.g. "Stein um Stein"). Nevertheless, Till is a great vocalist that has also grown over 30 year of R+ a lot. And he clearly proves his vocal abilities in many newer songs (like "Zeit") ☺

He sang it live in Lisbon 2009 and did a good job. But it's a lot of strain on his voice so better to use playback to save it for the rest of the show.
