Salt & pepper…French toast “seasonings” ??? so it’s a savory instead of a sweet? We top with confectioners sugar and/or syrup. I suppose it’s chef’s choice really. 😋

Sort of like an omelette then, here in the states they’re usually savory, but I have read in books where the English fixed them sweet. Personally I like what we call a “Miami”, where you tear a hole in a slice of bread, crack an egg in and fry it up on stovetop. Saves the trouble of toasters and beating up eggs 😅
