please update your facts. I live in Worcester UK, but the postcode alloted is the area and not the house directly, you have to mention the house number along with postcode to get to the house. For example, if my post code is WR3 **E that means its the code for the area and 31 houses come under that area. So the concept of postcode is the same as that of India.
