Mona Patel paying over $150K for the Lacroix was brilliant. It’s a piece of art that she can wear and look fabulous in. Handcrafted, with custom made beads and crystals from a great couture designer; I’d say she got a great deal. People have no concept of the hundreds of hours of skilled craftsmanship that goes into a piece like this.

@HY-qn2es Alex is a man who grew out his hair, and decided that he is a "woman now". There is a big difference between wanting to look, sexy, elegant, desirable, fashionable, artistic VS giving it away for free. Some of these looks are souless. More skin does not mean fashion. Meanwhile that first look reminds me of when I was a kid playing in my mom’s lingerie drawer. It literally looks like they took a scarf stuck a corset on it and thought yeah, let’s wrap it over the shoulder. OK done!

So a few of these gorgeous designs conjured memories of beautiful pieces from the past. Maya Jama in Conner Ives reminded me of one of my favorite looks from Nicole Kidman and the stunning chartreuse Dior dress she wore to the Oscars. And Mona Patels Christian Lacroix reminds me of Halle Berry’s Elie Saab Oscar look. Very body conscious - knows what looks good on her. That Lacroix confection is so delicious - I just can’t😮 As well as her Iris Van Herpen look at the Met gala - just perfection.😅 And yes I caught the reference to AbFab right away - “darling, darling Lacroix” 😊

First of all Anok should have won both times, she is alla power on the runway, amazing! Then I started thinking about the puffercoat in NEW York. New York has roughly the same weather, that is four seasons, as us, northern Sweden. However, we are not as hot in summer and much colder in winter around -30C. What does fashion look like during these seasons? I think that NY is such a fashionable city but do you think about fashion in all weathers? I'm mostly thinking about everyone who doesn't have private drivers or who actually gets hot in the summer. In the summer here we are so happy to have survived winter so we have almost nothing on and in the winter we are round balls of jackets and padded skirts and pants rolling down the hills like black blueberries, because we don’t have colors in cold. There are a lot of people who can't buy clothes that are fashionable and functional. I understand that you are dealing with fashion and mostly high end, I just thought it would be a fun idea to see fashion for the average man. Just a thought. Thanks for all the wonderful clips of clothes I will never see in reality but appreciate their beauty anyway and your opinion of these is really appreciated. Since you’re the fachion god, I’m not. ♥️
