Both power videos. But the live performance of Who is Gonna Be the One has even more control, a later phase of their work, other line-up, and definitely some of the fierced deep growls I ever heard. First of all, I’ve been waiting for this for so long and I knew you’d like it! Honestly my favourite song by them, secondly, I’d highly suggest you check out Sit, Stay, Roll Over by Jinjer😊 and finally, if you want to know what the song is about, this is what Tatiana herself said about it in an interview! I absolutely love how she used the teacher metaphorically for this “I like when people find their own meaning in our songs. For someone, that can be their schooling. For someone, that can be religious oppression of someone. For me, that was people who are prejudiced and they try to teach you from the top of their experience, and they don’t consider that we have different lives. “Teacher, Teacher!” is just a symbol, just a metaphor. It’s not about a teacher actually (laughs). It’s about people who try to teach you their own lessons, and they didn’t actually realize that you have your own path to walk.”

Yaz the Producer of course I knew! Honestly it’s very hard to find a bad Jinjer song in the first place, there’s some that aren’t quite as good but even then they’re still amazing! Plus this song is the only reason I even spent like £11 on the EP it’s on, 5 songs but totally worth the money And I’m glad you found the comment useful! I wasn’t too sure if the lyrics were meant to be taken literally either so I searched it up as soon as I first heard it 😊

13:11 -- I'm fortunate to work in a school district that addresses this every issue: Not every child learns the same way and some require a different, sometimes drastically different, approach to learning than what mainstream curriculum can provide. This is particularly relevant to children on the autism spectrum. All too often, people assume that the child is deficient in some way because they're not learning the curriculum in the same manner as other students, when in fact, the child is more often than not just as bright or brighter than the average student -- they just needed to approach the material and build study habits in a different way. We're all different. It shouldn't be a surprise that we all learn differently, too.

Yes, Napalm Records' intro tends to be the harbinger of great metal. Another good one from Napalm is the official video for Kai Tangata by Alien Weaponry (a band of young men from New Zealand of Maori ancestry who sing a lot of their lyrics in Maori - they aren't all even adults yet and have been making metal half their lives and played in some of the most prestigious metal festivals cuz they are fire). More great stuff from Jinjer: Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev has great visuals cuz they upgraded their stage production gear, and has the most savage growls of anything they've released. Retrospection is kinda like this in that it is an official video with various scenes from their shows - and baby pictures of the 4 of them! Cheers!
