BRITISH GIRL TRIES HUNGARIAN SNACKS FOR THE FIRST TIME

This is a video of a British girl trying Hungarian snacks for the first time. I eat a cheese snack with chocolate, wafer bars and Christmas tree sweets among others!

A slight note here, I initially had quite a nervous reaction to the sweets that we ate at the end as British culture and Hungarian had a bit of a clash here(!) This is where we've got to extend grace-cross-culturally and I hope that the different origins (from what basic googling I have done) mean that we can just appreciate the good from different cultures and hope that no-one is offended by the inclusion of them. Feel free to let me know otherwise. Always up for learning how to do 'mono-internet-culture' well! :D

Pottyos isn't really made out of cheese. Well technically it is, but simply saying cheese is very misleading :) it is made with cottage cheese, but even that doesn't describe it perfectly as Hungarian cottage cheese is completely different from English :)

The best part: It is as good as your Grandmothers'. Ákos: Nooooooooo. Hahaha. Good one. I was living in the UK for 7 years and made ppl try Túró Rudi but seriously no one liked it. People in England freak out from the thought of sweet curd cheese in chocolate. We love it. The best childhood sweets ever.

@@creativereindeer The thing that weirds us out in the English cuisine that you call something that has meat in it, pudding. For us pudding (puding) is only a sweet, usually with vanilla or chocolate taste. But lunch with meat called pudding? Nnnaaaaah.

I love UK sweets n treats as well, but man.... Cadbury's are like divine chocolate angels descended from the heavens. Gift from the gods, the essential manifestation of pure joy. No wonder they gave Harry some british chocolate bars, after meeting with some dementors.

Péter Czakó I have been to the UK (England and Wales) I have seen some beautiful places, met very nice people but the best part? Gosh, the Cadbury chocolate. Fun fact btw: You can buy it in Győr and Budapest in shops named British Store :D
