I was going to say the same thing. But I would add because I have lived in other towns plus the one I currently live in for the last 25 years, has one or two stop lights that you are not allowed to turn right on no matter if there are cars or not with the light is red. But when they are those ones they are very clearly labeled.
@thegrasslands41875 ай бұрын
This is correct. I wanted to add that I've only ever seen a no right on red intersection in 2 scenarios. 1. It is not possible to see far enough down the road to ensure there is enough distance without a car to safely turn. This is usually due to some kind of obstruction like a fence or an intersection that is not square. 2. There is a double left turn lane and only two available lanes. There is an intersection in the small city where I live that has double left turn lanes onto a street with only two lanes. There is a no turn on red for that intersection. I assume it's because you can't see when they have a green arrow. There is another intersection that is similar to the first that has an electric sign that will indicate no right on red only when the other direction has the left turn arrow.

Bounty hunters are only legal in the case of someone jumping bond. The bounty hunters can't use lethal force (except in the case of self-defense) but they can detain an individual and return them to the authorities.
@GhostNinja00075 ай бұрын
You’re partly right, the laws vary state to state. Some states let them carry guns and use reasonable force, so if they feel like their life is in danger they can shoot. And just like cops they can be arrested for excessive force or unjustified force if the courts order it. Some states only allow bounty hunter to carry tasers. And most states allow the use of pepper spray, and batons. And as of 2022, four states prohibit bounty hunting: Illinois, Kentucky, Oregon, and Wisconsin. They line bathroom trashcans, we take them on dog walks for cleanliness (poop scoop), use them for a week of cleaning the cat litter box, plus a hundred other things I'm not thinking of at the moment. I guess if they ever ban them completely, I'll have to BUY even TOUGHER bags that won't decompose as quickly as those little things do.

The "plastic grocery bags I will bring back to the store one day" part - most curbside recycling at people's homes in the US recycles certain plastics, which rarely includes plastic bags. But grocery stores often have recycling bins set up outside for just plastic bags. The assumption is that they are sending them to a different recycling plant, that does accept that type of plastic. The reality is that the bags, just like the curbside recycling, are rarely actually recycled.

LOL!! its also my anniversary, so we have dinner, a movie, and celebrate Valentines and our Anniversary for about 3 weeks of fun and food. - cheat on me, you wont see me again, and you will be raising our child alone. did it to the last husband, i will do it to you! dont cry about it! - the new bulbs are not as bright, and dont last at all like they claim! - at Save-a-Lot they sell small plastic bags for .10 cents a bag, while the larger thicker bags are for $1.00 each. we saved money by shopping there, and sometimes they had boxes out front to use. - one time while use a bag stuffed full of plastic bags, i was bagging my groceries. a woman came over to me and tried to take my bags. i told her those were mine, to give them back. she said oh i thought they were for everyone. i said where have you ever seen a bunch of the bags you pay for free here. i even moved my food down, because she kept looking at my bags and mumbling about some people have no humanity left. I use reusable totes sold at my market for 99 cents, $1.99 for zippered, insulated ones for cold items. I have 2 of each and they easily last a year or more. They hold more groceries than plastic, are easier to pack, and items don't roll out in the trunk on the drive home. People use the excuse that they forget to bring them when shopping. Simple solution: When you empty them at home, use one to hold the others and hang them on the door knob of the door you use most often. Next person going out places them in the trunk of the car. Now the only thing you need to do is remember to actually take them into the market the next time you shop. Not rocket science here. Sometimes one or two extra plastic bags may be needed for special items like bread or a gallon of milk, but it's far fewer than using all plastic bags. Like others have said, there are dozens of uses for them around the house.

Bounty hunters. When you are taken to jail, you usually are given a citation and released, or held in jail by a judge until trial - UNLESS you pay a fee (bail/bond). It's a guarantee you'll show up to trial. The people who issue these are "Bailbondsmen." They put up the money to get you out of jail - for a fee. And if you skip town, now the bailbondsman has to recoup his lost money, usually by sending a bounty hunter to find them and bring them to jail, so they can be tried. Probably won't get bail a second time, though. They don't have the same restrictions on them that law enforcement does. But we're usually dealing with REALLY bad folks, so I see no issue in getting them back to trial by (almost) any means necessary.
@mrgclough5 ай бұрын
In a lot of places, the motivation for the bailbondsman is to discount the forfeiture according to how quickly he gets the crook back into custody. In some, the bail system is a joke, because the prosecutors rarely move to forfeit. When I used to set bonds, if they weren't a hazard or had a history of flight, I gave them personal bonds. To do otherwise was just a gift to the bondsman. And quite a generous gift when they charged $100 to write a $500 DWI bond with no risk of losing the $500. Most would also accept a car title signed over to them. In a small town with only one or two full time bondsmen, they would even extend credit to regulars. People always made good on it, because they wanted to get the bail covered the next time. But had one guy who wanted to make sure he got bonded, so he called both his wife and his girlfriend. Both happened to turn up at the same time. He no longer had that much interest in getting out.

When someone is arrested and released on bail, but they have no money, a bail bondsman will accept collateral in exchange. If they fail to appear in court ( that’s the only way they are offered the option to bond out) the bail bondsman hires the bounty hunter. Bounty hunters track down these fugitives and bring them in for a cut of the bail bond money, usually around 10%. It’s a real thing and they risk their lives if they’re known to have past violent offenses. They even had a reality show called Dog, TheBounty Hunters. Quite an eccentric family but extremely successful. There are also those who reach out to family to provide collateral in exchange for that bond agency. If they are unsuccessful at finding the alleged criminal, then they may seize the collateral ( cars, boats and even homes). (You turned so red when you said you had a penis and redder when you looked up adultery. Thank you for it editing that out. lol love your videos

Unless it is otherwise stated you can turn right at a red light. The reasoning is that you are not crossing a lane of traffic when you turn right and as long as there is no traffic coming from your left side, it is clear for you to proceed. Traffic moving with the light green always has the right away as well as pedestrians and cyclists.
@kenbarney38435 ай бұрын
If there is no sign you treat a red light like a stop sign if you are turning right. There are also lights for right turns at some intersections. If you have a green right turn arrow on the stop light you do not stop or you could cause an accident.

3:46 In the State Of Michigan, unless a sign says otherwise you nay turn on red. However you must come to a complete stop before doing so. You can be cited if you fail to comply with this.

12:30 Banning or rather charging for plastic grocery bags is just plain insane. The amount of energy needed to create a single paper bag could have created 10,000 plastic bags! That's why I buy my plastic bags online and bring them into the store. Fairfax County isn't getting 25 cents a bag from me!!!

The unspoken rule here is, if it doesn’t say “no right turn on red” you break for a few seconds & then turn right & continue on your day

In the US we have right-hand drive, so a right turn is like a left turn in left-hand drive countries (UK). So you can turn right on red bc you don't cross traffic

My stepdad did bounty hunting for a few years. I went on a call with him once. The guy he picked up was pleading with me to let him out and that he was innocent. I was like 13! Haha People send out bounty hunters when they skip paying their bail bond. Bail bond brokers are really the only ones I know of that do this.

Don’t forget that in America turning right is the equivalent to turning left in European countries. So you aren’t turning across lanes. Basically if there isn’t a car coming, you can turn on a red light .

Plastic bags are cheaper than paper, plastic bags cause less pollution to make compared to paper, and plastic bags don't create green house gasses after being used.like paper. A plastic bag cost a fraction of a.penny for the store while a paper bag cost the store about ten cents or more. Same goes for plastic straws versus paper ones. And the vast vast majority.of the plastic in the ocean does not come from the places banning or trying to ban plastic straws. It's mostly parts of Asia & Africa due to a combination of littering, dumping, & tsunamis

In the US you can turn right at a red light, but the key they left out is that you need to stop and verify you're not pulling out in front of any one, and most streets where this is not possible because of how close buildings are to the road blocking vision, will say 'no right on red' Also remember that for much of the world this is like turning left on red. where you are not crossing any lanes of traffic.

We also drive on the right side of the road, so, a right turn is still in the same lane. You must come to a complete stop first.

Good video. In the states you can make a right on red UNLESS a sign is posted No Right On Red (for which there are many, in Philadelphia at least). Turning right on red in New York City is illegal everywhere. (There are NO signs in NYC saying No Right On Red as it would be too costly for every intersection.)

My uncle and his wife named my younger cousin "Sir Dale" , with Dale being his middle name. We All hated that name, and nobody EVER called him Sir! And they lived with my grandpa for years and my grandpa's name is Dale, so gramps started calling him "digger" after he started crawling. 😂😂 so everyone called him digger or dig's.

For bount hunters. If you go to jail you can call a bounty office and they will pay what the court. Is requiring for you to get out until you go to court again. If you don’t show up for your court appearance all the money that the bounty company paid to let you out for the short time is now kept by the courts meaning the bounty company loses that money unless they can find you and take you back to jail. NO they can’t kill you and take you back.

So an easier way to think of it, "If taking a right on a red light, treat it like a stop sign." Come to a full stop, look both ways, turn.
@livingandriding5 ай бұрын
You can make a right at most intersections on a red light only in the far right & 2nd lane, but you HAVE TO STOP....Look for cars coming, and if clear it's ok to go. Some intersections you cannot turn on a red and it is clearly marked....Some people think that if their are 3 right lanes, you can go on a red. Well you can't, only the 2 right lane is allowed...most Americans don't follow that rule, but it is a $500 fine in California....it happened to my cousin a month ago...

The heavier plastic bags get the same uses as the old lighter one. Nobody reuses them as shopping bags since that often requires washing and drying them. Who bothers with that? Since most curbside recycling is not actually recycled, the net effect is to put more plastic in the ground than ever and add a hidden tax through charging for the bag. These heavier bags cannot even be made biodegradable as the old light ones could. As is so often the case someones idea to save the environment winds up doing more damage than whatever it was they were trying to stop.
@Algorythmfpv5 ай бұрын
Turning right on a red is more like a yield sign. You stop, look, and if it's clear, you can go since you only need to watch one direction and usually 2 lanes, although sometimes you have to watch for the opposite sides turn lane as well, so 2 potential areas for cars to come from, if that closest lane is free, you can turn and be on your way.
