British-led Dark Angels team blast Russian positions with a Javelin anti-tank missiles

A BRIT-led team of international volunteers blasted a Russian position with a Javelin anti-tank missile on Ukraine’s front line.
The daredevil squad, led by ex-Para Daniel Burke, crept into no-man’s land in occupied Kherson province to launch the rocket attack.
Their unit, known as the Dark Angels, began the commando-style raid after troops from Ukraine’s 28th Brigade gave them an £80,000 fire-and-forget missile.
Body cam footage shot by fellow Brit fighter Sam Newey - a ­student from Birmingham with no previous military experience - shows the four-man team creeping up to a ridge line to fire the US-made guided weapon.
Britain has given Ukraine some 200 Javelin missiles which have a maximum range of 2.5km. The US donated thousands more.
The Sun met the volunteers at their bunker HQ in a bomb-blitzed frontline village.
The highest ranking volunteer was a former US Marine sergeant, Chris.
Others include a German-born bartender, British ex-con Mark Ayres, 49, and a US gun enthusiast, Justin, 29, who fought in Afghanistan.
Burke formed the Dark Angels to deliver humanitarian aid and provide medical and military training.
His volunteers are all unpaid - and laugh off Russian claims they are far-right foreign mercenaries.

And how do you know if they are getting paid or not, being in a war zone in uniform proves they are mercenaries. And under international law Russia are in their rights to treat them as such. And don't blame Russia completely for invading Ukraine they had genuine reasons and grievances brought on by the West, NATO aka USA/UK expanding their reach ever eastwards, getting closer and closer to Russia's borders. There was an agreement in place between Ukraine and Russia whereby Ukraine would remain neutral, and also Russia had an agreement with the US where the US would not expand towards Russia but these agreements were broken!

Most of the people didn't realize hoe close it was to the positions. Right after javelin left 3 seconds return small arms fire rains on them. Javelin locks and goes on its own. So you can dodge fire...

Ukranie area is 600,000 km2. Population of 45m to occupy a country that size going by an invading force need is 3-1so about a 750,000 soldiers Russia would need to take and hold it, 200,000 to take 25% and hold sounds about right taking the area and heavily fortification of the areas they take- they won't ever give what they have back ukraine will need a 3-1 ratio

They have loads of stray dogs in ukraine and russia like this. The dogs gravitate to the front lines because of the available food to scavenge so they are at least not being kept their against their will.

In a recent zoom meeting with the Canadian registered charity, veterinarians without borders, Ukraine Crisis, it was clear from the Ukraine animal organizers and Polish that there is a serious problem with stray dogs further compounded by the war and families having to leave their pets behind. Horrible war! Also there appears to be population resistance to sterilize, or another term for it is spay or neuter dogs and cats. Such dedicated work from Ukraine and Polish animal humanitarian organizers. A silver lining I guess is that they are not being kept at the front lines against their will, a sort of freedom I guess. If there is enough food around the soldiers for them, another silver lining I guess. Thank you for your comment and input. Glory to Ukraine from East Canada.
