Unfortunately I broke my back doing a charity parachute jump on a weekend off from SAS Signals pre Selection in March 03. I went on the June 03 summer selection. Unaware I had broken it. Miracle I made it as far as I did. All part of my multiple decades of - ongoing multiple degenerative, physical and mental, chronic and acute, health battles. I won't ever let it best me though. sometimes the USA forgets the value the uk has been as an ally to them when they try to act better than the uk or even bully citizens of the uk, lets hope more Americans speak out about how much the uk has helped them, so it shuts up thos Americans who go as far as to say "that the uks culture needs to change or that a forced republic must be placed on the uk" I don't want to see a uk republic as a uk citizen because i feel it destroys my culture and the country i grew up in, the uk has always had a monarchy and parliamentary democracy im proud of, USA stop trying to Americanise and destroy the UK, remember all the times the united kingdoms helped you in war.

Americans dont know but it was the British who changed the world with the Magna Carta in the 1200s, a king gave universal rights to all citizens, and even said not even he, is above the law. The british also had the first constitution. The US Constitution is a quite similar version of it believe it or not. Englands monarchy was never the same, through parliament, the people had a say finally. Its not a monarchy rules all system and has been in a very very long time
@coindisk3559 ай бұрын
@@jamesmaddison4546 to me the monarchy is very important to the uk culturally, the king or queen is there to rule when parliament fails like a fall back plan (same applies to all commonwealth nations who have the uk monarchy as their monarchy for if their local government fails), also the main leaders of all commonwealth nations and the uk's prime minister or the heads of the senates for Wales, Scotland or Ireland all report to and advice the monarchy, in return for this advisement they are granted freedom to govern as they please, as i said the reason they advice the monarchy is so it is prepared to take control if needed just until the government that failed rebuilds itself so it can be given back control and govern as normal, also culturally the uk cant be called uk anymore if there is no king or queen because uk stands for united kingdoms, cant call yourself a kingdom without a monarchy, plus many tourists visit the country because of our history and the monarchy, if the uk became a republic then we would either have to brake up back into 4 separate countries or just loose what makes us the uk in the first place, which in turn completely destroys the culture of the uk as it effects everything that makes the uk the uk.

This reads as if it were written by a toddler. You don't actually believe the things you're saying, do you? Take a look at the comment section. Most of the bad mouthing isn't coming from Americans. It's coming from you! No one is bullying your citizens either, it's the other way around. You've got this 200 year old grudge because you lost a war against us, and you can't seem to let it go. We've always held you in high regard. It's time you do the same.

All must appreciate this honest account. Clearly someone who has seen true combat, didn’t try to make out his team was firing non-stop regardless of the overwhelming odds. No bravado just the chilling reality that even nations with the best military units in the world sometimes find themselves with the odds against them. His team chose to use resource in a tactical manner to bring everyone home alive and neutralise the enemy. That’s what a coalition is for and that’s why Britain and the US stand united. 🇺🇸🇬🇧

We are free thanks. We get to do whatever we want. We even have fancy old stuff to entertain ourselves with. I'm less sure why you think the US is free..seems to be the serial killer and crime capital of the world, polarised beyond belief, you can't even freely hike anywhere without risking being shot. Yeah, we kinda wish you'd embrace the concept of freedom. We did it about 800 years ago in a field, then you guys paraphrased it and called it your bill of rights.
