I'm emotional because not too many people realize what's it's like to have parents who have your back, in an interracial relationship. Their problem if they missed you mentioning it and still no justification for anyone saying they can see better than a loving parent! Besides just shows the ups and downs of moods and emotions that are normal for all of us! 4 permanently happy kids (or adults) would be a touch sociopathic imo 🤣could make for a funny spoof video though! Another comment because I just love your vlogs about life in Uganda! I’m from the USA and every once and while you say something that means something very different in the USA and it totally pulls me out of what you are saying. (The word “flannel” for “washcloth.”) Do you have that experience in Uganda? Are there Ugandan English words that have a very different meaning in British English? I find these differences in English language meanings across countries tremendously amusing!

Ahhh yes you use flannel for a certain type of shirt don't you?! Actually I feel like Uganda probably uses more British English words - although they do say soda here so now I use that term when back in UK too! Actually, there is also something here unofficially called 'Uglish' - for example 'going for a short call' here means going for a wee!

Interesting. I always find language usage differences rather amusing. As for the flannel thing...we ( Australia=British English) say Flannel for a wash cloth. The actually material is called Flannelette, but I guess it gets shortened to flannel at times?? That would make it confusing 😅😅

But it’s Christmas and since lots of people wear flannel pajamas in the winter and have flannel sheets on their bed, I thought that these flannels you received must be some sort of seasonal/Christmas cloths like Christmas crackers. Or, that they were a luxury type face washcloth that was made of some sort of special skin soothing for the winter material. Do you, Josh and your kids ever have that sort of confusion when watching American KZbin videos? I was genuinely perplexed on this whole flannel thing wondering why these special holiday/seasonal treats were so casually dismissed when advent calendars were not! 😂
