Id have to agree. Being raised with Native American ideologies and part NA, you hear the horror stories of religious persecution and what my ancestors went through. My mom didn't raise me to be religious but she did raise me to have very similar messages that Rev Chris talks about. On a fundamental level. The way the Rev Chris teaches and talks about the message and not so much about how God wants you to do this and this and this but more about the place of you and how God can help guide you is rather interesting. Idk. I dont usually go seeking to hear about God but when I see Rev Chris is in a video, I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoy listening to what he has to teach.

i agree with Rev Chris, sometimes as an adult we find it hard to pray or simply don’t know how to start praying. it’s actually really easy and we can learn a lot from the innocence and the honesty of the kids in this video. they just said whatever they feel and think in their prayer. they didn’t care much about the context, they just know that they’re communicating with God who understands, knows and in charge of everything.

I don't remember writing these sorts of prayers out, though I do recall my mother (very patiently) schooling us in the "Hail Mary" prayer.. as a child, my version went something like this: "Haail Morry! Full of Geese! The Lord is whips zee...blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the floops of thy womb.." and my older sisters would add "Holy Morry, mudder of Gott, pray for us scissors..." and Mom would say: "no no, not scissors.. sinners..." and their response would be "but mummy, are those sinners sharp?"

Knowing Jesus is the best thing ever. I felt joy in my heart and spirit whenever Rev Chris explains the things of God. My family went through separation when I was a teenager, and I had to spend most time alone at home because my mom had to travel far for work. I didn't know God back then. I carried the suffering with me into my adulthood. The entire time God was knocking but for me He was just another religion like any other. I received Christ only 10 years after God's first knocking. I never understand why God is so good and was so patient with me. Recently I realized God is faithful to fulfill His promises. One of them being, 'I will be a Father to the fatherless and a protector of the widows'. I just love the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Seek the Lord while He may be found.

So you have actually met Jesus and had a full conversation with him? Not that fairytale that you felt it but actually sat down to talk with him like at Starbucks? And I have a feeling you don't know God. You have never met God. You think you know some stories people planted into your head but I would like to see that picture of you actually shaking his hand and sitting down and talking to him face to face. Not your mind telling you some story you think you hear or feel.

@@People_R_Foolish If you need Jesus, just pray and tell Him that you need Him. I don't know what's going on with you, what you've been through, but God knows. Nobody should ever live their life without peace, or full of strive. I am a living testimony that God is good. If you have a problem with that, you need healing. And yes, Jesus can help you. It is still up to you to receive that help or not. God give us free will, He does not force Himself on mankind. If you want Jesus in your life, just pray, and find a real Christian to guide you through it and find a good church or community. Also remember, Christian are still human, we aren't perfect.

Like you can journal or something, but prayer is probably easier in ways where you feel like you are talking to someone. I also think it probably gives hope and helps people focus on the future and their dreams and wants. Like with meditation or journaling, you will feel more connected with yourself and more at peace when you pray.

I had a bad day, and I found out there is a priest from my generation who shares my birthday. I am from Kolkata, India. My parents, are what you can call a pantheist. That is, they brought me up in an environment, where we respect all the cultural and religious practices. My dad was a devout spiritual person. Indian religious practices are complected. We have a lot of ancient practices. We just keep adding to them with evolving times. Especially, the part of India I am from. As a result Christmas is a HUGE festive season here. I remember watching Bible stories with parents on Christmas Eve. Which, also happens to be my Birthday ❤️. I really like Adrian's Tiktoks. Especially the Bible stories. I think that's how I ended up here. People who become priests, at least the ones I met, I have noticed, they all have a very calm and positive presence and way of talking. I find the same in Rev. Chris. We also share the same birthday. Yes. Christmas baby here. I do think, God has a plan or something. My mom is literally listening to a song now with lyrics that goes, " Oh Lord, please lift this veil of darkness and reveal to me the kingdom of Light ❤️". My dad passed away last year. Right now, I am in a really bad place. And finding you guys with all these coincidences really made my heart full for today.

2:10 We can also know what God is like through all the stories about Him in the Bible. He is patient, He is forgiving, He is loving, and He is jealous (in that we should not belong to anything else but Him, not to money or to sin or to fame etc. but Him only). He wants us to avoid sin, because it only hurts us in the end even if we like it now. He wants us to be with Him. He wants us to be loving to other people, even our enemies. I think we can know a lot about God through the Bible stories because of how He responds to all the weird and wild things we humans do.

Ya know with all the horrible things happening in my country due to gun violence, I often forgot that although god is seeing the worst of this world that he also gets to see all the wonderful things that happen. Seeing the pure prayers of these children allowed us a glimpse into that and I think that’s really cool

Love you guys so much! I found you about a month ago!! I am a postulant for priesthood in Massachusetts, USA! I am 3rd generation Irish/English. And I have an Korean Godmother/Aunt (my uncle met her when stationed in Korea brought her back and they started a family!). So it’s like 2-3 worlds colliding! I keep sharing your videos to friends and family. My coworker is from Manchester and I told her all about you guys. She spent an 11 hour drive watching your videos!!!

Rev, because of some of your early reaction videos as a 38 year old I’ve been reconsidering my relationship with a higher power. Just so you know giggle giggle it was some Billie Eilish reaction video you did right After I was having suicidal thoughts and this channel help me with your help to make it another two years as a one month ago. So thank you for just making me smile when I need it I got a good chuckle out of this even if he could hardly get a word in

As an primary school teacher, I'm raising a very high single eyebrow at these 'letters from children' because they're blatantly written by adults trying to make their writing look like a child's.

I was not raised Christian (or catholic apologies i dont know the distinction) but I've seen it around me a lot. Rev. Chris is the first and only person where I can truly see the good in it. I wish I could sit and talk with him, I'm sure he'll be the first believer I've ever met who would simply chat with me instead of trying to 'convert' me.

We were about to get our first ever puppy when my mom found out she was expecting my youngest sister. I had to wait another twelve years for the puppy. (But obviously I wouldn't trade it. My baby sister is one of the best things that's ever happened to me and I love her so much. She's one of the best parts of my life, even 16 years later)

Reverend Chris is speaks so eloquently, simply and gently about the Christian faith. It makes me wish I had had him as a pastor while growing up. As a formally trained minister, he probably has a very technical knowledge of the Bible and it's history, but I feel like he relies on the personal connection to God/Jesus to help people gain a more profound understanding of being God's loving creation.
