Dwayne, you are not far off, I met children like her. I did a guided tour in our Zoo for so called "highly gifted" children. One moment they are just children acting their age, the next moment they are 40 year old university professors, acting exactly like those. Oh, you have so much to look forward to. I would strongly suggest and I'm sure most Angels would agree, that you do 'I Put a Spell On You' next in the studio when she was 9 yrs old. That is a song by Screamin Jay Hawkins 1956. I would also suggest you take a look at the original. It was what inspired Angelina for this performance. 👣When you see this you will realize that Angelina is a Genius. What Einstein was to Science, Angelina is to Music.👣 After that I would encourage you to go back to her beginnings and do her 4 performances on Norway's Got Talent. After that I'd go for something recent so you can hear what she sounds like today. 'Suspicious Minds' from last spring or her original that she just dropped a couple of weeks ago 'Love Don't Let Me Go' No one sings like Angelina. Simply the best I've ever heard and I'm 68. ♥👣

Thank you for another reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction. There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. (8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 4.27 in your reaction video. (9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!" (10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who,curseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

Dwayne, Angelina practices singing since age 3, for 36 hours weekly, no joke. She also has an uncanny instinct for music. She is famous for this. How would you otherwise explain, that a experienced, mid forties conductor of a well respected military band asked a 11, yes eleven year old girl for advise. There is a video about that. If the barefoot princess asked humbly a band of grown musicians "wouldn´t it sound better, if you took this part a key higher, you can bet your car on it, it is better. You can see her complete fearless, effortless , sincere and passionate delivery as she navigates throughout the song ! She knows whats shes doing all the time and is leading this great band flawlessly ! The most difficult thing to do is be in sync with a live band and shes tearing up the stage ! I can't imagine anyone trying to sing with a live audience, national TV , lights, cameras your face and just calmly delivering this magnicent performance at 10 years old like it was nothing ! You're in for a real treat - at this same age of 10, Angelina did a cover of the Amy classic Back To Black. While she did have to rewrite some of the lyrics (to be more age appropriate), when I close my eyes & listen - I see Amy singing. Somewhere a vocal coach discusses the common comparison to Amy Winehouse, explaining what Angelina is actually doing that is far more nuanced and complex that Amy's combination of "twang" and "yodel". There is so much out there to discover. I like the jam sessions she did with Ivan Mendez when she was 12. Some are a bit rough but they were done with ine or two run throughs and then a take. Usually only one take. Ivan stated that if a second was needed it was usually his fault. Try "Stay" from these sessions. btw has anyone said that you, Sir, have the most expressive face?
