Dodge…. Thankyou for this episode with Rian. What an amazing person!! I love his ‘Don’t give up’ mentally. I had a liver transplant due to Wilson’s disease and I wasn’t diagnosed until I had both feet in the box in the ground. Dr’s gave me a five year survival term after surgery and I said bugger that!! I’ve got an amazing wife who I want to spend more time with before I go. Here I am just gone 6 years and still battling on each day. It’s definitely not been easy but I’ll keep going for as long as it’s possible. Awesome medical team at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney Australia. Keep up with your awesome attitude Rian! Love it!

One of the hardest things I did was the commando course. What this geezer has gone through is something else and it’s that mental fortitude that’s installed in you that’s serving him so well now. What a guy!! I know where this guy us coming from I got told on my 30th birthday I got a brain tumour not as server as his (stage 2) just got my dream job had been told im having my second kid and bang.. mine got cut out but can come back when ever no cure got stripped of everything but bit cannot take it lying down. Fight it and I'm now in the process of starting my own business. This a true hero this man hands down to you pal and see in your 80s twiggy

Was in Kajaki 2008 when the IEDs were a daily find for us. I was one of Vallon (IED detector) operators. That we had to search most days on the ground leading the Routes for Royal Marines up there at the time. Crazy times.
