I disagree with the governor. 2 cows and 2 settlers is very nice and you eat the cows immediately, this allows you to not go idle. Also, you put all vills on wood in transition and start putting houses down then also get gangsaw. 16vill age up is also faster. If you do go governor use the outpost to defend, brits are a boomy civ not necessarily a rushing civ, playing to their strength is booming. Another thing is sending vills around the map to put houses down near hunts and mines to get map control and then herd in and then gain massive line of sight with the houses. The herding villagers should be chopping then herding every 12 seconds. Musketeers from 1 racks require 7 vills on food and 3 on gold. 5 vills on food gets you a vill every 25 seconds. So 12 on food, 3 on gold, and the rest on wood for upgrades and houses. This build order allows for 20 manor houses by 7 minutes with constant TC vills and musk.

Thanks for the comment, the governor age up is one of the most common age ups because it offers the versatility in the early game. I wasn’t 100% sure of the macro for musk production so thanks for clarifying that. I think that a full manor boom is something that British players don’t have to do and providing early pressure with a slow economic boom is a good middle ground and offers many options in the mid game. These types of videos are always going to invite people to offer up other strategic alternatives, thanks for the contribution 👍
