I am working in kuwait since 2017..Kuwaiti people r very humble,soft hearted and they use to wel come all types people....they are not egoiest..govt is too much supportive....during corona lockdown govt announced to owners not to take rents of shops,flats.....and also to banks not to take loan instalments....govt gives free internet and calling during lockdown..

This brought back such happy memories of the years I lived and worked in Kuwait (1980 to 1984). I imagine there have been a load of changes since my time. I worked in the oil town of Ahmadi and lived in Fahaheel. A trip into Kuwait City was an adventure for us! Although trips to Salmiya were quite frequent. Would love to go back one day.

WOW I didn't expect you to go to Kuwait, I was thinking maybe u would go to Qatar or UAE after your Saudi and Bahrain trip. thanks for bringing back my childhood memories from there. my relatives own a shop in the souq and run it even now, so a lot of memories from the souq just hanging out , playing with scooters and all near liberation tower. i just hope u visited the avenues mall is really huge , there's this place called khairan which has really beautiful beach and a lot of resorts the local go for long weekends, if u got a good Kuwaiti friend u could go to wafra and just chill there , so of them have a guesthouse kinda thing there.and how could I forget failaka island the main tourist attraction and a lot of history to this place.

Kuwait's food industry was booming like crazy, from desserts to coffee, burgers and traditional food, new food trends going on literally every year, the competition in this business was endless, and it's completely normal for someone to make a restaurant in their own home to deliver from (you can still get a lot of customer this way). Kuwait was exporting restaurants to neighboring countries and a few made it to the UK. Unfortunately the coronavirus is wrecking havoc to this industry now, it's unknown where things are heading in the future.
