​@@seleukos1000nikator if amazonia had any kind of detective qualities he would have sussed out Caesar wrote a bunch of lies. Caesar claims he defeated the catuvellauni he killed their warriors, told them to send slaves and money to rome and not to attack their neighbours anymore. Otherwise he would come back to punish them again. The fact that after Caesar ran out of Britain the catuvellauni immediately carried on invading other tribes expanding their territory ruling most of middle Britain including the trinovantes ,and Sent no money or slaves to Rome , And Caesar didn't come back to punish them All Proves the catuvellauni weren't defeated and Caesar was just a big fat liar . But he wasn't going to admit that he lost in his books, which are the only source of what supposedly happened. That's the reason why Rome left Britain alone for the following hundred years.

Caesar was chased off , came back with a larger army and was chased off a second time. That's why the only archaeological evidence of Caesar is the ditches around his camp close to where his ships were beached. Right down in southern Britain ( England) Nothing else has ever been found to support his claims of going further north, nothing at all. But obviously Caesar isn't going to write the truth, the part of his book on thr gallo belgic wars regarding Britain is complete bullshit.
