I think I'm getting addicted to your videos! I'll always remember Nicola Pagett from "A bit of a do". As always, I was a little young for it and as I remember it had some quite dark themes, but I was hooked. There was a character in it, Neville Badger (?) who once played a villain in Dr Who (the actor, not the character!) Happy days. I'd love to see a Tenko one (my favourite TV series of all time when I managed to get the DVDs, as my parents would only allow me to ever watch the intro music). Sorry for the verbal diarrhoea!

Sorry for commenting twice on the same video but a lovely story about John Challis. My mother was a rabid cricket fan and we only lived down the road from Edgbaston, so I was a Warwickshire CC child member and cricket was a massive part of my life. Anyway, Mum and I were listening to Test Match Special and rain stopped play. Which means there's not much to do. Anyway, I think it was Christopher Martin-Jenkins who said "Isn't that Boycie sitting above us? You know, Boycie from Only Fools and Horses?" So they got him into the commentary box and he entertained us all for the afternoon with funny anecdotes. It was cool!

Very True. I was due to go on holiday in November with my best mate and 3 days b4 we were due to leave,I rang to finalize arrangements and discovered he was within minutes of losing his life after passing out at home but his brother saved him. Suddenly he was in The I C Unit in an induced 2-week coma. The punchline is that he suffered no brain damage but had...Diabetes AND a Clot on his Lung and Covid AND Pneumonia AND the Cancer in his eye returned after 30 years AND he only had 10% Kidney functioning and.....He survived it all even the hospital serious error of knocking a valve out and a nearby surgeon (out of 300 beds ) had THREE minutes to replace it or he would have lost oxygen to the brain. 6 weeks in hospital altogether and within 10 days of overcoming all that (His kidneys are 75%+ now) he was supposed to go to a football match the other night until the match was cancelled through Covid....

He is a miracle man as The Priest was at the bottom of his bed and they were preparing The Death Certificate and now he aims to walk over a mile this week and has 75%+ Kidneys functioning and will have an eye operation this week! The best Xmas present ever for a wonderful Guy :)

Life comes & life goes, so we should all make the most of our time here. The entertainers just mentioned in the 2021 deceased list, helped us to do just that. Some really recognisable entertainers here, most I remember, some I enjoyed, for me, I would have to select John Challis, an enjoyable man, I met up with him for a chat at one of the Of&H reunions, a real pleasant, genuine, welcoming man, who had time for everyone, & do you know, he really did enjoy these get- ups, you could see the pleasure in his eyes.
