@octavianpopescu477610 ай бұрын
@@Murgota Yes, BUT he has more range than that. The first time I ever saw him was in a show called Revolution and the show switched between past and present and the present was what you know, but his character's past self was a shy, mild mannered, white collar worker and I usually don't notice this stuff to be honest, how good an actor is, but even I was: "ok, who's this?" Typecasting isn't necessarily a measure of talent. Neither is playing secondary roles. My favourite actress usually plays secondary roles, but seeing her take the lead in a mini-series... she carried the whole show. There's more to being an actor than just talent, sometimes Hollywood politics (as in office politics, who knows who), agents, the social stuff, or simply personal interests can change where a career in acting is going. I've seen plenty of very talented actors who've never been to Hollywood OR who don't even want to go there and prefer theatre or who dislike the fame/social obligations that come with it. It really depends on a lot of things.

I’m with him completely on that one lol. I remember when my friends and I were kids and we would act out imaginary stories as superheroes or knights or whatever. Somehow I always ended up as the villain and I was pretty sick with it. One time I asked to see what it would be like to play one of the heroes, and my other friend played the villain, he accidentally collided into one of us during a “fight” scene and literally fell over on his own. Absolutely terrible villain actor lol. I went back to being the villain cuz it was boring playing as one of the heroes. I mean the villain sets the stage and MAKES the story. I think they’re inherently more fun
