I agree!! I figured that Emma’s migraines also have a lot to do with their schedule… in a recent HOTD premiere interview they mentioned being “quite sickly” and having lots of migraines. As a person who has frequent sinus headaches that can be hard to work through, I can’t imagine doing press work with a migraine!

The comment about Daemon's giving the news about Lucerys death, like a crone coming into the room is perfect. And the whole ''symphony'' as the whole council walks between, is so right. Seeing her speak helps me understand why I find her such a great actress. She seems to reflect so deeply on each scene and interaction. Part of what makes the show so great is that there is so much being said while remaining unsaid, recognized only through the expression on each persons face or the physical gestures they make. Following the footsteps of someone as great as Queen Daenerys Targaryen on screen is such a huge pressure. Emma was so perfect to be the actor for the new Targaryen Queen and I cannot express it enough how their acting is so phenomenal.

@@jsh111 Which part do you think is nonsense, exactly? From a strictly grammatical perspective, the pronoun "they" does correctly apply to an individual (ex. When you get to the station, ask the person at the ticket booth if *they* can point you in the right direction.). From a gender theory perspective, Emma D'Arcy has come out publicly as non-binary, which means using they/them pronouns to describe them shows base-level respect for their humanity. Why does this bother you?

She’s a person that was able to create another person. The way she speaks, her tone, actions/mannerisms as Emma isn’t showing when she plays Rhaenyra. Unlike other celebrities no matter how good they are, they can’t separate or they fail to contain or hide their self while playing a character.

They speak so eloquently, I think Emma D'Arcy is an amazing actor in this series, they portray Rhaenyra so well, I can't imagine anyone else playing that part now, and when they spoke about being a parent and the grief/fear for your children, I really felt that scene, brilliant work between them and Matt Smith,

Emma is incredibly in touch with these characters. Not just their own character, but they truly understand the others. I also think Emma is perfection as Rhaenyra. The casting people for both GoT and HOTD were so good.
