Gosh, memories. I went on a school kids’ cruise on a ship like that in 1965 or so. Venice, Corfu, Delphi, Athens, Istanbul. Just like this film. Utterly memorable - and MUCH less crowded than today. Then, less than a decade later I was working in Australia, SE Asia and the Gulf. I was paid ‘Eastern Service Allowance’ - the remnants of empire.
