@@gizzy2324 yes. Heather stopped several times in the 2 part interview to clarify points, to get some fact in, so that Shayna wasnt shading things, getting too inaccurate. It was far from easy to stop the train, but she did it firmly without losing rapport. Very impressive. Most seasoned interviewers could not have done it as smoothly.

I love Sarah Colona! She’s exceptional!!! She’s a wonderful comedian - no hate no shade - but she’s an exceptional actress! So humble as well. No diva attitude even though she married a baller - excited to see more of her work. Love her humor: she’s so dry on stage - I was surprised by her warmth and vulnerability in her acting. According to Emily Baker, KZbin legal commentator, Erika's recording of the Car Boom song was properly licensed, fees paid, appropriate credits given. The original group who performed it were not aware that it was used with all legal conditions met, so Erika Jane is not guilty on this issue.

If it’s a song that you have performed, I believe that you still have to be asked. I used to be in the music industry and that was how it was. I could be wrong but it’s a code between artists. Like Beyoncé has gotten into a lot of hot water with similar situations.

@@halitst1 I was reporting Emily's purely legal check on whether or not Erika used the material legally. Whether or not she could be sued. She's been wrongfully accused of stealing. Because the group is no longer performing together, they may be difficult to reach personally. They dont own the song. They weren't notified by their own associates either. Which is how this misunderstanding arose. Erika was wrongly accused over and over now all over social media, accused of stealing. Its depressing to see this perpetuated. I agree with your point that its courteous and appropriate to reach out to the original performers to indicate you love their song and your people have completed negotiations for you to use it etc. Because Erika's recording of the car boom song was done many years ago, its likely no one remembers details on how it happened that the original performers weren't in the loop so that courtesy could be extended to them.

Heather pls speak to one of your best friends Sarah. This is absolutely no shade. Sara is obese. Go to the dr w her because he's going to tell her the same thing. Every time I see Sara she's put on 10 pds. Obesity=heart attack, dietbetis, the ability to fight sickness (covid) etc. There is no excuse. When I got the news I uncovered all my mirrors and I see myself 1st thing, I have no choice. I go for a 5 mile walk everyday w my dog. There is no driving involved (no excuses). Only grapefruit w splenda etc. You know what to eat and not eat. I lost 25lbs in 3 months. I'm going for 35lbs more. It's not a chore, I just flipped the switch. Pls Sara lose the weight before you have 2 heart attacks❤
