I can't believe she accepted this "gig" as she was obviously a bit perturbed about having to lip sync her way thru this performance (as seen by her facial expressions throughout). It was probably in her contract that she had to lip sing her own songs, which would no doubt be crushing to realize they had no faith in her live singing. I think because the song has a near comic feel to it, also the video clip. It quotes the classic hollywood-style within the music, the outfits, acting and the storytelling. The whole theme of the song is exaggerated, but still it’s sad.
