Yup this was Britney's peak. Even 2 years later you could see the cracks from her being overworked. I watched behind the scenes footage from In The Zone and she had big clumps of hair falling out! Every time I've seen an interviewer ask her what she's looking forward to, her answer was downtime/a break. If she had gotten proper self care at this age, she'd probably have had a whole different life trajectory. Incredibly sad for her.

This was one of her best concert tours! I miss the days when Britney sang 100% live vocals at most of her performances back in the day. She's always been an amazing dancer too. I just hope now that she has full control over her life and hard earned money that she releases a new album sometime in the future. It makes me wonder if she will ever sing and perform ever again. I hope that she does sing and perform sometime again in the future but if she decides not to I'm ok with that. Regardless if she will ever sing and perform again or not I will always be a true Britney Spears fan until the day I die.

The sound engineer raises and lowers the recorded track as needed. Few, if any, singers can sing perfectly while dancing frenetically, from Madonna to Pink. How much of this vocal performance is Britney live and how much is Britney via a recorded track? Hard to tell…. She is a wonderful performer.

This was the only concert I was able to go to when I was young. I went when she was at Concord Pavillion. I went with my bestie and her friend from school. We sat at the back at the grass area. We had fun. We wish we were closer hehe. BUT...She was awesome then; a great entertainer. Years after that, I finally saw her again when she was in Vegas. And she still got it then. No matter what she is doing...I'll always be a fan of Brit and still stand by her! WE LOVE YOU BRITNEY!!!!

It both brings me joy and breaks my heart how happy she was and so full of life in these early performances. And I know it must be hard to sing live and do the dancing she does which explains the choice to lip sync eventually but I love hearing her use her live vocals too. ❤ This is the Britney I grew up with and idolized, and still love her to death. She deserves independence, ownership and happiness and to feel this joy again.
