This song gets me every time. The first time was live, at a tribute. I could barely see the screen, I was crying so hard. I grew up around the Tisdale family. We went to the same schools, and I had classes with his brother. The Tisdale family is so loved and respected here! A highway named after his father. A medical clinic named for Wayman. He was so special. Always smiling, even when he lost his leg. Toby was lucky to be so close with someone so full of light. RIP Wayman. ❤

I’ve loved Toby Keith since he first started his singing career. He’s a very good songwriter and a heck of a singer. I love this song for all of the obvious reasons. I mostly love it because Toby is showing the real Toby. It breaks my heart that Toby is fighting stomach cancer. Sending love & prayers for Toby.

Wayman was a beautiful soul and he and Toby were like brothers. Wayman died of bone cancer. They enjoyed playing music together and OU sports. They are reunited in heaven. Probably have already formed a band together. God bless these men and their families

Waymon and Toby were great friends and both were class men. Waymon🎉 never lost his beautiful smile and Toby never lost his love for his family and his home state of Oklahoma. I drive by his home and tear up every trip because of what he was going through with his health and now it's because of our loss. Great person and talent lost.

Wayman had to have his leg amputated to try to prevent the cancer from returning. He died as a complication from the radiation treatment. Toby has a brilliant voice and now unfortunately understands what battles his friend had to fight. Toby is back to doing some very limited concerts though which is wonderful for him. Cancer is just plain cruel. I watched it rapidly take away my mom, my hero. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Toby Keith is amazing! I have been his fan for a good while. He does great story telling songs. Great reaction dudes!! Marcin has a new one out called Layla. That young man has too much talent. OMG OMG!!!! PENTATONIX has a new one out as well. It is Seal's A Kiss From A Rose 🌹. YOU MUST DO THIS ONE GUYS! IT IS SO PHENOMENAL. The best I've seen them...better than The Prayer. R.I.P. Toby this song hits me hard i was diagnosed with throat cancer due to a lifetime of severe acid reflux. I chose not to seek treatment the Good lord has spoken death is a beautiful thing it is the next step of the journey we must all someday take alone. Awesome reaction. God bless you and your family.

Sadly, he had cancer & his esophagus ruptured from his radiation treatments. Just heart breaking He played basketball for Oklahoma, then he played Pro ball & then played music, bass guitar, with a more jazz vibe.

This song is farrrrrrr too overlooked. Thank You so much for reacting to it and in doing so, sharing it w others. Perhaps the one thing more beautiful than the song: their friendship. With Toby now in his own health battle, “you showed me how I’m supposed to live and now you showed me how to die” has even more sting to it😔 Toby can indeed be quite funny!! But I feel like somewhere along the line, this other side of him can get lost… and it’s a beautiful side. Love Me If You Can & Don’t Let The Old Man In are two more examples.
