@TrevorTaylor-jk3ng Well said. The Wealth that has been sucked out of this country over the last 120 years fighting other people's wars, giving "aid", money being taken away through remittance (immigration, essentially), including those leaving, benefits, the colossal waste in the NHS and practically every other thing the government took control of and embezzled as they do to this day is insane. Far outweighs any money taken from colonies (as much of that was reinvested).

Britain is finished.!!! I’m not saying that to scare monger but rather from an economical perspective. Wages are low, they have a socialist system that has incredibly high taxes. The government doesn’t enforce its laws and corruption is increasing amongst politicians. Not to mention inflation. This is normal in nations and empires. There’ll always be a cycle of rising and declining nations.

We don't have a socialist system - all our utilities are private companies, have been since the 80s and so we are worse off than in the days when they were publicly owned. Our taxes include healthcare and pensions and it is much cheaper than in the US where medical insurance is really expensive.

I worked 25 years in the U.K. 1997 to 2008 it was good if you worked hard. Taxes were a bit high, but services worked and mortgages were available at 3-4 times of gross salary. The banks transferred so much losses and their debts to the private sector that services decayed, taxes increased and mortgages were too small to afford housing. So the cost within rental market exploded. The young are now in the worse possible position. Low salaries, inflation, student debt and declining quality of life in general. Of course those that can will leave. What other choice do they have.

The west is in total collapse and even those living in Asia and Africa are soon going to be in shock when the dollar, pound and euro starts its inevitable collapse. You will see soon those currencies will be worth a fraction of what they are worth today and the purchasing power will plummet globally. When this happens and you don’t have a business receiving local currency in those countries you are going to have a very very serious problem. Imagine the dollar going for a one to two or one to three ratio of the cedis. Your standard of living will evaporate and all of a sudden you will have to heavily manage your money. If you don’t own a house or apartment you will be in trouble. If you don’t own a business you will Be in trouble. I tell people this whenever they ask me for advice on living abroad. Invest in the country and don’t just use the country as a cheap way to live. If you’re depending on a pension or SS you are in the wrong all ready. Do your best to get 2nd and 3rd incomes not tied to those western countries just in case the ish hits the fan. Learn to live like a local and not like a westerner to cut cost down. Nothing good last forever and this goes for the trade value of currencies. These BRICS nations are about to change the whole earth wealth distribution and it will directly effect our currencies on the other side of the earth in the west.

I'm a third generation British Bangladeshi from East London and I decided to move abroad 5 years ago I came to Brazil due to the low cost of living and the year round sunshine also Brazilian culture is very similar to British culture I can still grab myself a beer every weekend but still have a relaxing peaceful beachside lifestyle compared to London, I remember when I went back to England and saw a few of my ex white native British work colleagues and they were saying why I didn't choose to go to Bangladesh to be honest I did go to Bangladesh on holiday but the culture over there is too different to mine but Brazil has a very open culture and it's very similar to British culture which I feel more comfortable wit therefore I moved to Brazil but I still get Brazilians confused when I tell them I'm from England because here in Brazil they expect people from England to be white but I always tell them to go to Whitechapel or East Ham and walk around and see how many white faces they see lol

I'm also a third generation British Pakistani, from Balochistan and I moved abroad since 2018 here in Hong Kong. It's just like London UK, safe, clean, efficient, not a single crime in sight. I also take trips to Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan within hours every month. I have no intentions to return to London UK, due to the horrific state. Good to hear from people like you in your own community who decided to move abroad for a better life with common sense.

@@yabbadabbadoo1863 That's great to hear that a fellow Londoner is doing well abroad you know I was looking at Malaysia and Thailand as options to move to before but the language was an issue and Portuguese came really easy to me I managed to learn it in London before I moved out to Brazil also the citizenship was a big deal for me because in Brazil you can become a citizen really fast and that was something I wanted to add to my British and Bangladeshi passport and get myself a third passport I read that in Thailand it's not so easy to get citizenship and in Malaysia close to impossible
@yabbadabbadoo186314 сағат бұрын
@@nuyt6 Thailand now grant foreigners to get a citizenship if they are able to speak fluent Thai, be able to adapt to the Thai culture and have good behaviour. I myself only have a full British passport and no Pakistani passport or origin card, whenever I visit Pakistan I strictly use tourist or business evisa. I could use a family evisa but my grandfather is from Balochistan and as a Balochi origin, our lives could be at risk and may face discrimination or trouble with the police as we are Balochis, due to the current situation in Pakistan and terror attacks in Balochistan. I don't want to put my family members at risk for them to help me to apply for a family evisa for Pakistan and I want to protect them at all cost. So I only see myself as a full British and will always be one wherever I go. Wanting to give up my UK passport but thinking of moving to Korea or Japan as they give citizenship.

I love how for a person earning a small amount of money you have calculated a new leased car which to this day some of my family and friends dont have and they are doing very well. You have to make sacrifices in life and budget for your standard of living. I wasnt mad that on a 1100 pound salary I lived in a shared house and specifically moved to west draytom to afford a 400 per month room. This was how much i was worth - this was my salary. but now im on a very comfortable wage and can afford many creature comforts.

Please help me find work in Africa. I am qualified as a chef and electro mechanical engineer. West or North Africa would be my preference. Jobs here do not pay enough to thrive, hardly even survive. I see people turning to lives of crime, or females selling their bodies and I worry about where society is heading. I do not want to live in such a shallow and hellish culture any more. It will all change within 5 years hopefully before and give the people a wake up call - We are being culturally replaced Then bring in reform and try to reverse a lot of it. The only way is mass deportations of ALL illegals and many so called legal immigrants. Millions will have to leave if we want to save and ‘preserve’ English culture and its heritage. If not, the other cultures will change us forever .. for the worse

that man reckoning up costs at 6:15 ... he's on 40k.. but bear in mind there are A LOT of skilled jobs.. lots of them.. that only pay around 28k. That means.. if you're single either you live with family.. or you live in a house share like a student.. or you live in poverty.. and for that.. they expect super professional full time work and high responsibilities to be taken on at work.. plus arms length of technical skills in many cases. So, basically we've got to the point that you need to be a doctor or airline pilot just to live in your own independent small studio flat. That's why this country is a rotten deal.

Well what does everyone expect in the UK. Invite cheap labour into the country then do not expect wages to go up. When the UK left the EU there was a chance for wages to rise due to shortage of labour but the government changed the rules and allowed inflows of cheap labour to still enter. This was seen in the construction industry. So any signs of wage recovery against years of cost of living increases was stopped in its tracks. Now immigration is out of control and minimum wage is a way of life for many. No opportunity’s for the young to get on. So many failed government policies that drained the coffers. This country used to pay for its youth to go to University but not any more. Most probably that money was spent on the failed wars we fought over the last twenty years and one that still is raging in Ukraine, a ton of money wasted. No wonder people leave. No point in flogging a dead horse.
