In more recent times there has been a reduction in this attitude, but it is still held by a strong majority. We had all of the 99's before covid. Then prices doubled, and sometimes tripled, with all the price gouging in the stores. Some of those stores, are owned by Walmart. I've bought 40 cal. 9mm, and 22, and 30-06 and some shotgun shells . Ammo at Walmart. Also a 30- 06 Rifle. When they sold them. Their prices were actually pretty decent. As far as someone standing behind their, some times you have to tell an employee, you need help in the sporting section. Which honestly, could be a little annoying sometimes. Lol Their's cameras all around, the guns, and ammo. No Walmart employees don't cary guns. But as far as someone grabbing a gun, and trying to shoot it. For one you would have to break the glass, and or locks, on the guns, which everyone would hear, and none of them are loaded. So then you would have to break the glass, or lock on the Ammo. Open up the Ammo, and try to load the gun after all of this, plus they have cameras being watched, and not sure, but probably an alarm also. In fact, the ones on display may not even have firing pins, or be able to fire. Plus, the Police would be there in a heartbeat. Now that I think about it. When I bought the 30-06 Rifle, they had an employee escort me out the door. Not sure if I bought the Ammo then or not, or if the sell the two together. Or maybe I bought the Ammo then also, and that's why I had an escort. Their's states without food tax, or any tax on Items bought at the store. Two I know of Oregon, and Washington, has no food tax. Oregon, has no sales tax. The pure chocolates are in the baking section. They also have the cheap pizza's for 2 and three dollars. The food, unfortunately he isn't showing the cheaper brands. As far as pure Chocolate, he's in the wrong section of the store. It's in the baking section. 😂 You can get a frozen pizza for two something.

I would love to see your reactoin to the video about why America is gun crazy. It goes back to our history as a British colony. The Brits didn't want to station an army all over the world in their colonies so they gave people land and told them to defend it themselves. After the American War of Independence (The Revolution), we put in our constitution that the right to bear arms in defense of the republic is not to be abridged, BUT it is supposed ot be a well regualted right and a collective right, not an indicvidual right. Conservative courts have eroded the "well-regulated" and collective part over the last three decades so that all that is left is the right to bear arms. It's why we have so much random gun violence and mass shootings. In fairness, we have relatively few shootings considering how many guns we have. There are 1.2 guns for every 1 person. But in reality only about a third of people actually own a gun. Those who do tend to own several. And weirdly they get passed down through generations. I have never pruchased a gun but I own 6 through inheritance. One is an antique Kentucky Hunting Rifle from the 1800s that I intend to keep as a historic piece of art, the rest are just basic guns owned by family in the past including a bird shot gun, a .22 calliber rifle, a .22 caliber hand gun, a .45 Colt revolver, and a 006 shot gun. I have a couple of friends with .50 caliber sniper rifles (that are illegal) and most of my friends own some sort of hand gun or hunting rifle for protection or actual hunting. When you grow up in the rural south it's just part of the culture. One of my cousins is a professional hunter in the winter and a farmer in the spring thorugh autumn. My grandfather kept a two loaded guns behind the door of his den. One was a shot gun for shooting gophers that got into his garden and the other was a shot gun for shooting people if they trespassed. We all knew not to touch grandpa's guns.

The security in Walmart are just normal workers and they are not armed. When someone is caught stealing, the store calls the police. The only people armed at a Walmart are the shoppers themselves, especially in the South. Once you get out of the big cities in the US a lot of people are armed. No. Security guys never have guns. NEVER: It’s never legal to shoot someone who’s just stealing, so the stores don’t want to risk a massive lawsuit because of a security guard who hurts someone. The reason there’s no one behind the gun counter is because WalMart isn’t going to pay someone to just work that section and never leave it… The guns are all locked up anyway… And very few people come there on average to buy guns. If you want a gun, you ask for an associate to help you, but there’s no “service” like a regular gun shop or BassPro Shops. You have to choose the gun beforehand and say you want to buy it. The salespeople can’t really educate you/help you in deciding to buy this gun or that one. I mean, it’s just WAL-MART! Also, not every WalMart sells guns, for various reasons, based on local laws and/or policies.
