There's a well established concept of this in Japanese comedy, which is the concept of a comedic duo where one man plays the "idiot" and the other person plays the "straight man" (boke and tsukkomi). This is exactly why Josh and Ollie work so well together, because Ollie will always have this chaotic energy with off the cuff comments, jokes and ideas (boke), while Josh always reacts in disbelief and immediately shoots down his wild antics (tsukkomi).

I think my favorite part of watching Jolly grow is videos like this. The organic nature in which Josh and Ollie go from making one video with someone to going on an insane trip with them is so cool to watch.
