That little boy comments was the highlight of this video besides our guy CVV doing his thing 😁🤘. I truly enjoyed this. Nyla winning was a definite surprise. However i think AEW wanted to surprise us since everyone predicted Britt to win. I still think she will. If she's still healthy as regards to her concussion; then i can see her winning the belt at the end of this year or maybe at the top of next year. She's still the #1 babyface of that division

Yes, I was skeptical at first because I didn't know how they were gonna handle Nyla Rose as a character, but I'm glad that they didn't shove the fact down our throats and made a big deal about it. Unlike in June where pride month was the most annoying thing ever.

I think she needs to work on her execution with consideration for her opponent's safety. There have been several occasions in this event and prior event where I was scared of Britt breaking her opponent neck and really damaging them in other ways. She is good, but she should do some extra training for perfection. Be safe to yourself and others while trying to look amazing, Britt. It's possible, take stronger notes from the Japanese stars.

When I first heard that Nyla actually won the Battle Royal I was skeptical at first but after watching it fully I understood why they did it, they were trying to paint her as the monsterous underdog who always come up short but now finally has a win. Honestly its nice that Nyla won and everything but if they are thinking logically then there is no way they should make her the first Women's Champion, at this point everyone knows that Nyla is transgender ( even though they have done an amazing job of not pushing it down our throats ) and by making her the first champion it would seem to a lot of people that they only gave her the honor just *because* she's transgender and nothing else and I don't really think they need that kind of publicity so early in their history. Riho would be great but she's only a part timer and ( as far as we know ) will be mostly in Japan, Britt and Bea are also great but I dont think they are there yet, let them have their blood feud first to raise their credibility, and same with Hikaru she's great but she's just not ready yet. What they should have done is have either Mercedes Martinez or Awesome Kong win then work on building the division up before passing on the title. Oh well 👤 I'm interested to see what direction they take in crowning their first champ. Still hope they give it to Riho tho 😆😆😆😆

Who knows when Kylie Rae started having second thoughts so I think Tony probably decided to go with Nyla. OK. I was ok with Nyla this whole time, until now. This obviously was not based off who has the most in-ring skills, promo skills, or charisma, as there were AT LEAST 5 other wrestlers in that 21 wrestlers match that would have been a great fit for the first ever women's championship match. This is clearly done with an agenda. I'm guessing they will make her lose to Riho, to show that they "care" about equality. Why can't companies show that they care about equality by making everyone equal, and not put someone on the spotlight because they are considered "different" by some? The part I dislike about this is, ok. We all know this sport is choreographed and predetermined, but these are very physical performances they are putting on. Nyla is going to be able to perform moves and show features of strength that no other female born female will be able to. To me, that minimizes the other females efforts. For example, that other blonde female in that match, she tried, struggled, and eventually bodypressed (above her head) another female wrestler. It wasn't a pretty bodypress, but it was a show of real female-born-frmale strength. The way she did it, with no momentum, you can tell she's no ordinary female you'd see on the street everyday. Meaning you can tell she's a super strong female who must have obviously spent years of weight training to condition herself to be able to lift that heavy above her head. (Even with the wrestler being pressed assisting in pulling off the move.) Then you have Nyla, who I am sorry, but you can't say has put the same effort into physical conditioning as the blonde, but who can do bodypresses after bodypresses with no issue, because of man-like strength that she was born with. It makes it unfair, that Nyla can do body presses all day, and the announcers won't shut up about how impressive she is, when the blonde girl, who REALLY is one super strong female, and the announcers put Nyla over for being so impressive for (lack of better term) manhandling these other females so easily. It minimizes the one bodypress the blonde wrestler just pulled off. Which was an incredible feature of strength for a female born female athlete. Of course Nyla is going to out perform her.

Ah yes, "the blonde". So equal she doesn't even get to have a name, gotcha. I wouldn't say Nyla Rose is my fave female wrestler in AEW but I didn't mind the result. You're talking about equality... The role of bigger characters in battle royales is typically to eliminate many people and then lose. Did you want Nyla to be equal to everyone else in her role before her or did you want her to break the cycle? AEW made it equal by actually letting the audience know everyone has a chance. For decades, wrestling taught us that if you're Goliath, then David will slay you. I don't think Nyla will lose to Riho, I think the storyline here is that Riho won twice by catching the opponents off-guard with a roll-up and that it won't happen again during the title match. I could be wrong, but everyone is clearly equal here, because everyone is different in their own way.

I dont know her name. I DO know that she's impressive female born female strength, and I hope to see more of her. I hope to learn more about a lot of the ladies in the match in fact. A lot of them impressed me. And that's part of the issue. Take Nylas strenght and gender out of the equation, and half of the people in the match were better in the ring (moveset, psychology, presentation, fluid, etc) than Nyla. And it becomes obvious, the reason Nyla is being put in such position. Anyways.
