I remember I was at the Belgian GP on a thursday waiting in a crowd of people to get the drivers autographs. All the drivers just showed up with their PR manager trailing behind. But Britta came to the pen just before Seb and firmly but kindly told/showed all the fans how to hold their merchandise so that Seb could be as efficient as possible giving autographs to as many fans as he could. Very efficient, effective and impressive.

If I were a high profile person I would hire my own PR person as well. I think having someone that's so close to you all the time you need to make sure that they're focused on your interests above all else at the end of the day.

I can attest to the fact that Britta is indeed a very nice person, as I got to meet her at the 2019 Mexican GP. Busy as she was, particularly on race day, she was warm, smiling and friendly, and, totally out of the blue, kindly returned a small favor I did for her with a souvenir my son will cherish forever. I’ve followed F1 for years ever since I was young and you really are showing a whole new side and depth to the paddock which no one has done before. The trainers and pr profiles are people I’ve seen on tv for ages close to the drivers but never knew anything about them, until you showed us and like I said it instantly gives depth to a sport which is dominated by the drivers.

James Preston well said and I feel the same way. Even the info he shares on the drivers is great cause a lot of it I didn’t know. The way Kym gets us closer to them without disrespecting them by throwing mud or going to personal is applaudable. I have enjoyed finding his site so much and it’s only been since the end of the season which was perfect because like every year I wasn’t ready for it to be over.

I'm dumbfounded by the fact it's common for a team to provide the driver with a PR employee. This is akin to a companies HR employee telling you 'I'm here to help you' when in reality the company pays them not you... There's essentially 2 methods of earning $ for these drivers: 1. Be successful in competition 2. Sell your image/brand/popularity (and benefit from the opportunities that come with this) When you personally employee a PR staff member, their success immediately becomes tied with your success.

Daddy1724, Magnussen had 3 dnfs this season, Ricciardo had that amount after 4 races, Magnussen is aggressive for sure, but he does not crash and he doesn’t make others crash. You see him as an issue and that is why it would be interesting to see how he is off the race track.

Rasmus Vilain Magnussen didn’t crash because he is so infamous for dangerous driving. I couldn’t think of one instance where he didn’t attempt to push other drivers wide. Ultimately he is one of the drivers and it only matters how he behave on track. I am sure Magnussen is a somewhat decent person off track. Just like Maldonado is a pleasant soul in life; Raghunathan is a good person not a spoiled brat; Taki Inoue has great sense of humor. The only thing interesting about Magnussen is how he established corporate sponsorships to pay for his seat. His dad is more interesting than he is.

I got to admit, Britta is quite the looker. :) In all seriousness, she should be congratulated for the yeoman's work she's done over the years. I just about fell over backwards when you mentioned about her setting up as many as EIGHT interviews for Sebastian Vettel in one day! She's an incredible talent in her profession - male and female alike - and after watching this video, I truly understand why she is so respected by her peers. Yes, they do it for that very reason. If I'm not mistaken, Senna were one of the first drivers to have a PR to record everything he said, so they would have the actual quotes to deny or correct anything that were shared in the wrong way by the media.
