Right? Same here. Well I was like 19 when she passed, haha. But it feels like forever ago. I didn’t know her back then and was obsessed with the Nicole Richies, Paris Hilton’s, Lindsay Lohan’s, and Britney Spears. Those were my girls!! Total pop culture enthusiast and those were the days for it. Before social media and when Googling and video surfing on KZbin meant sitting at a desktop or laptop! This was the beginning of the 24/7 News cycle and the madness with Britney and it launched countless paparazzi agencies and suddenly they were running around LA all hours of the day and night by the crowds and jamming outside the nightclubs around 1-3 AM waiting for big names to get a picture or video of and chasing them around the city all hours of the night. Insanity!! It’s when KZbin became the destination for seeing new clips and celebrity stories from the night. Messy, Dangerous, Wild, and chaos!! But MAN!! Was it fun as a fan of many of these girls. And I remember Lindsay Lohan was my girl back then cuz I always liked her the most growing up…. Loved her films. But then her rough patch drew me in more as I got older. Having become introduced to Brittany Murphy more in recent months after watching the new investigative documentary on her final days and inner world and relationship to her then husband (HBO Max - go check it out!) - she reminds me so much of Lindsay Lohan in her 20’s. There’s many commonalities physically but also behaviorally and circumstantially. It makes total sense why I took to brittany so fast. If you rewinded back to 2009 and the scene back then and gossip stories and who was on the cover of every tabloid - people were predicting Lindsay Lohan to have Brittany’s fate. It’s actually pretty dark to think in that way. I remember Lindsay’s mom saying she was reading a magazine and came across a prediction of Lindsey’s death by OD pretty sure… so… Anyway… yes - Brittany was a phenomenal actress and beautiful as heck on the inside and outwards. Especially before she thinned out so much in these final days here ^^^ but still beautiful. She had the charm, vibe, the way she carried herself and presented herself - as a classical celebrity. Like a Marilyn Monroe quality. It’s very very rare, absolutely! Especially today…
