I really enjoy anything you put on here, feels like spending time with a friend. I can be really hard on myself about performing well and rather than telling myself to “do better” I tell myself to learn comfortably with imperfect because imperfect is inevitable and if I’m going to ruminate for days about it every time it happens life is going to be a hard slog. Often I have to fake/act like I’m fine in order to practice the behaviour and eventually it comes naturally. Not sure if that’s helpful but it has helped me let go of some of the expectation iv held on myself and others that do not serve me. X

I totally get what you share at the end about Christmas. I've actually stopped doing Christmas at all now, it was making me miserable, and giving myself permission to opt out was transformative. thanks for sharing it anyways, its nice to see some real and relatable content out here on youtube. I also did not feel festive and told myself its also okay - I was and am dealing with different emotions and feelings that just came with things that happen in life that felt heavy and not easy and just happened to fall into this season - so tried to use the calm time to rest and recharge and that’s also so okay. Movement helps me when I feel low and also when a negative self talk wave comes by - it can be just dancing a little at home or go for a walk sometimes a sweaty workout all works and all is okay. I was celebrating Christmas Eve last night but I saw you uploaded a video and I am so happy to wake up and watch your video on Christmas Day in my pyjamas. Loved the beginning of the video with the book. The Juno’s postcard was so funny. Oh and in the last video when you told the story about the cat food and today you also said it : you definitely master the Voilà 😅 As a French person who lived abroad, many people used it wrongly so kudos to you !
