READ THAT WINDWITCH!!!!!!!! Yeah, I loooove the witchlands more than anyone probably should. One of my all-time favorite series. As a side note, the book that came out this year, Bloodwitch, is not the finale. They haven't released the full number yet but I think it's going to be somewhere around 6 including the Sightwitch Novella. Good luck with your reading for the month! I hope you get to everything!

I LOVED Serpent & Dove! I didn't think the book was problematic at all, and I generally am the type of person who gets irked by even the slightest bit of problematic content

If you read all of this, you'll be my hero! That's a huge TBR and a lot of books I am interested in too! I really hope you like Serpent and Dove. I was very pleasantly surprised by it and it reminded me a ton of SJM books. It wasn't perfect, but none of its flaws had anything to do with being "problematic."

I finished 3 books out of 7 books for my December tbr. I'm rereading The Cruel Prince so that I can read The Lost Sisters (novella), then The Wicked King and then Queen of Nothing. I read The Cruel Prince in February 2018 and I liked it but rereading again - I'm finding it boring. I dont know why but the reason I am reading it again is because I don't remember what happened so it's going to take a while as I've got some other books to read as well xxx

I hate when books get damaged. It saddens me so much. I work in education/child care - and by far one of the worse things I have ever seen is a little girl ripping the pages out of a book, and also the cover of a book. I saw her starting to do doing it and told her not to do it and she went and did something else, but she went back a second time, again to be told not to treat books like that by me as I was the one who again saw her doing this (and I got told off by the other educator, since I was at the time a student; for reprimanding her) and again moved her away from the book. But alas, she went back a third time, and ended up completely destroying the book, of which I caught her doing once again - and by this time it was in literal pieces. And as someone who loves books, and treats them with the utmost care; even when they are books borrowed from the library or friends - I was in shock that the staff had allowed this to happen, and didn't even let the child know that she had done something bad, or even let the parents know when she was picked up that afternoon that she had destroyed a piece of child care property!

Also wanted to say that i think the audiobook narrator is AMAZING, especially how he does Geralts voice (the women are a bit funny tho). 😊 But is it just me or does Geralt sound EXACTLY like the guy from Transporter (Jason Statham). 😅 Also you will FOR SURE love Serpent and the Dove because I've read it and dare i say that we have similar taste in books (big SJM fan here). 🙂

I feel like every book on earth has some thing that someone can "problematic" within it. It just depends on what you're sensitive to. A lot of booktubers have given a older book that's super-problematic 5 stars but then complain about new books that had similar themes, so I wouldn't worry. To each their own I guess.

I still have to read the wicked King and then finally start The Queen of Nothing. But first I need to reread Skyward by Brandon Sanderson, so I can get to Starsight. Which together has almost 1000 pages. And I also want to reread the Toll by Neal Shusterman. Which I read last month and I loved it but the way my mind was last month, I know I missed something's. And that book is over 600 pages. Good luck on your tbr and I hope you get to all of your books for this month.
