Enjoyable performance with both soloists excelling in their respective interpretation. My 1955 well played vinyl recording with Dennis Brain., Peter Pears and the Boyd Neel Orchestra remains my favourite. The sheer beauty of the strings in the opening Cotton Pastoral has never been touched in any subsequent recording. I could listen to this track for ever.
