FINALLY! Thank you for actually organizing a pantry that is functional, usable, AND beautiful! What bothers me about these pantry organization videos are the ones that they "organize" the pantry just to look pretty for KZbin. They have the fancy containers and shelves, but the pantry has ZERO function and is definitely not sustainable. They are also always so spread out and none of the space is being utilized.

I love your pantry! I love how you organized everything. Our pantry is tiny, and I have just enough cabinets for dishes, glasses, spices, pots, pans, bakeware, and 2 cabinets that I put the bread machine, food saver, crockpot etc. I’m about to do a full organization of pantry and drawers. I had bought a set of food storage containers on Amazon. They appeared clear in the add, but they are opaque like the non glass Rubbermaid. I would prefer all glass, but the sets I’ve seen are so expensive, my next choice is clear acrylic. I wish I knew a cheaper brand/location to purchase either glass or clear acrylic.

I made the switch from plastic to glass years ago. It’s the best thing I ever did! I used to have the old version of the OXO pop containers that weren’t dishwasher safe. It was such a pain to clean them 🙄 now I only use those for non-food items like q-tips, floss sticks, cotton balls, etc. For my glass storage, I use Ball canning jars which are super cost effective and can be used for everything! For my bulk purchases, I use Bormioli Rocco Fido hermetic jars. They’re a bit pricier per container but are super helpful for my flour, sugar, rice, honey, etc.

Your pantry is great. It's about the size of my kitchen. One thing that I use and recommend is cord winders for small appliances. :You stick them to the outside of the appliance and wind up the cord. It's easy to access the appliance and you don't have to worry that the cord is caught on something.

I don't know what ones I like more, the lazy Susan's or the mesh baskets for taters and onions..both a great idea! I am always waiting for some good inspiration to swim in my head for our little home, I don't have any pantry , so I have to come up with creative ways to help make things work..we bought our house almost 40 yrs ago, and they didn't think about storage so much when they built these old houses. Definitely working on our spring cleaning and hoping this is the last year we have to do anything majorly! Been downsizing my house since March 2021 using a lot of see-through containers with lids to put things in and label that way when we need it not only do we know where it’s at we can put it away when we’re done and it doesn’t have a mess in the house! I have a massive basement with a lot of shelving units downstairs. I plan to convert it completely hopefully by the end of this year into almost a warehouse looking situation lol I am a prepper on top of it so I have a ton of food on shelves downstairs but I’m going to reserve one shelf strictly for household things that we need from time to time and making sure everything is labeled and in a tote that is up on the shelf that is clear and see-through with a clear defined label so I know where it’s at when we need to go and get it! We are almost done, downsizing our house, one more clean, sweep through the house when it comes to getting rid of clothing, and we are done! I will do a deep clean every six months by hiring a housekeeper to come in and help me with that, but any more purging and things of that nature, we are finally done, and a lot of things have left the house, nearly 80% has either been trashed, put on the curb for somebody else to pick up for free or donated 3:23
