I love this song! I relate. I had huge walls, insensitive approach to others as I was alone and afraid inside. I humbly prayed to God to give me a support system, those I'd be able to be vulnerable with. I was super scared to open up and my hope was only onto His supernatural strength. God is so loving He heard my cry and lead me to the right people who I'm currently seeing weekly to go through healing of much buried pain. It's been over a year since I've allowed myself to feel emotions as before I intentionally denied feeling or expressing any emotion. I'm crying now sharing this how broken I was. My cousin said she sees difference in me as before I was always on the edge. Now I'm allowing myself to feel. Sometimes it's good to finally open the door even a bit to receive love in from others. I've learned that love and pain go together. In order for one to know love they must know pain too. Seems I just recently discovered it and I'm not ashamed because my value is not determined by where I could be compared to another persons growth or maturity. Like we all just doubt him ALL THE TIME and it's such a shame that we'll believe and follow something that is false and WRONG yet at the same time we want something that is true and once the truth is told to us, we get angry and reject it. My favorite part is the part where she raps. It is so fun to sing that part along with the song. Very pretty voice and beautiful woman. I wish I were as pretty... and I think I am okay at singing, really bad at singing in normal voice, low or super high. I gotta stay between normal and high. But my first time singing for church went okay. Also so far the last time I sang at church. I've only done it once. It was sorta fun. But also scary since the last time I "performed" for people was 4 or 5 years before. I was afraid I had gotten rusty with the keyboard.
