@@christianpetrovich30 I gave this one another wearing yesterday, and I'm coming back to it again today. I think JC hit the nail on the head. It has a sharpness when I'm smelling directly on my skin (especially the opening) but is sweeter in the air. It was also cold here on the east coast when I first sampled and it definitely seemed to bloom more in the warmer weather yesterday. Didn't help that it had to go up against Triumph of Bacchus, which has already become a personal favorite (waiting for it to be back in stock!!!)

I agree, the opening of this is strange but it does calm and becomes oddly appealing. Green & sharp, that texture vibe is spot on. I felt my mouth dry up like there was a paste on my tongue during the opening. The entire line is good, grabbed a sample set a few weeks back and have enjoyed testing.

Very unique and smooth. I feel like argos frags are some of the smoothest yet long lasting frags I have tried. One of the most impressive houses. Glad I have Bacio Immortale. Wanna add the other 2 new ones at some point!!!

Your description of this fragrance is spot on. Up close, it almost smells like an ash tray but in an inviting way which may sound weird. I keep wanting to smell it. I really like this. It is definitely unique. The uniqueness of this fragrance is making me want to purchase a full bottle. I will see what my wife thinks of it. Spot on review as usual!

Bruh I’ve been waiting for this review as I got my Brivido early last week... TOB, BI and BDC... simply one of the best lines of 2019/2020... Argos HAS to be dealt with and recognized. I hope ur suns understand and appreciate your taste in frags bc ur the one who got me hip. On point review if the scent break down of its uniqueness. It is green, leathery sweet fragrance that makes it unique. It was love at first sniff for TOB and BI and BDC is appreciated for its uniqueness and beauty!

Your description of the green mate makes so much sense. I got that too when I smelled this. And I agree that it smells way better in the air. I didn't enjoy it as much on myself (because it doesn't fit my personality) but it smells very distinct and addictive when my husband passes by wearing this.

Yo BDC is the best of the bunch. My opinion might differ from others, but of the three new offerings BDC is the one best suited for the summertime. Their use of juniper berries makes it so elegant!!! I just got BI and now my attention is set on this very nice head-turner of a frag!

Ok so after some testing it's quite good and in the dry down it's very similar to tiziana terenzi kaff like almost identical but TT starts out with woody gin and tonic vibes. I personaly think tt is better also it's an extrait and its cheaper on Fragrance buy, but sample it for yourself you wont regret it.

J. C. Not so much a question about it. But if you had to pick each Argos fragrance to wear, which month would you place all of them? (including the Argos femm) I think imortal kiss is a February fragrance because of that sweet but spicy feel it gives that is warm, something about it just screams month of Feb to me. The two summer fragrances fem and homme I would put June (fem) July (homme), the one in this video prob September or could honestly pull off in January too. bacchus id day maybe October (just the perfect time between cold but not too cold) or later. Anyways; You are one of the best fragrance channels out there. One day ima have to do my own video and be inspired by people like you ☺️

You make a very good point. I haven’t smelled Irish leather, but I have smelled a clone that supposed to be pretty close. The Argos doesn’t smell too much like the clone, but perhaps it could be closer to the original.

It's not similar to red tobacco although with it's spiciness I could understand why someone would think so. It's more a niche clone of Hugo Boss Bottled intense however. But I personally would get the Hugo Boss over the Layton. But try both and make your own decision.
