The ai is fine, once you play a bit you will get used to the ai’s aim and you will be able to have a chance but it will be hard, unless you don’t like challenges. The sniping is perfectly fine. The “inconsistency” your talking about at ranges I’m asuming is probably the bullet drop, you just need to know to control bullet drop

I've been in multiple servers where strangers have worked together, formed convoys and smashed compounds all because of voice chat. The update is not bad, but has a ton of negative sides like new interface, it's just not that comfortable as it was before, or new heli controls which make your heli shake, I even dodged AA missiles a lot of times just moving around and flipping, that's so stupid. For some reason they added mortars and rpgs, they are not that hard to deal with, but the possibility of being exploded just sucks, new enemy Mi-8 is just goofy and pops like a balloon. But of course there are positive sides like lowered prices and inventory system or new customization options. I honestly feel like it's unfinished.

@Monsi_in_germany also the AI can't do headshots. The damage of guns from what I had been told from other players have increased and the AI accuracy also increased. You don't feel so weak if the AI wasn't constantly missing 99 percent of their shots past 20 feet back like it was in resurgence. This game is trying to take an milsim direction. The developers want you to treat the AI like real players. So treat them like that. My best advice is to take your time don't be overly aggressive and work with an squad that can actually work together and not just some bunch of randoms.

Use Q to turn left and E to turn right, tap W to make sure propulsion is forward and so on.. using the tab menu you can use the vehicles tab to turn on your engine, close doors, manage turrets, and activate the parking break. Hold shift before takeoff and when landing/shutting off your engine.

call me skill issue but things baffles me that the weapons for the bots is a direct upgrade with no downsides, dudes with small firearms expect you to deal high dmg at close to medium range? nah I'd head eyes far away dude with a MG? nah i spam (you need to take cover or else he will suppress you longer) dude with mortar? *THE AIR TINGLES LOOMING WITH SENSE OF DREAD* with no warnings (in video games when mortar shot there's a high wind sound will play before landing similar to centaura this game however mortar is freaking silent) what about the melee dudes? probably my favorite and balanced one since their the guys that you can get a free kills while also punishing you for not checking your surroundings.
