I was at Azusa Pacific University ... We had been praying all year for Revival ... The Holy Spirit spoke to me the night before Chapel that we were going to have a Revival the next day. I told my brother Stuart. That morning I was leading the singing. When we finished singing 2 Students were there from the Asbury College Revival & when they just stood up & began to talk - everywhere I looked students were weeping ... including me. Jesus shed his Spirit upon us & Students began to confess their sins & we were in the midst of Revival. Jesus moved all over our campus & throughout all Churches in our region. Jesus Christ is Lord 👆

I am blessed to be a minister in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, a branch from the Methodist, Wesleyan - Holiness movement. We were having a revival at "Springs Of Praise World Outreach Center" in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. Suddenly, we had a revival spirit break out that lasted 3.5 years that we referred to as the "I-55 Revival", being we were only about 1 mile from I-55. When I was at Wesley College in Florence, MS we heard so much about the Revival at Asbury, and it still moves people like it did then. God bless you all. I love the testimony in such a great way.

There have been several mini-revivals at #AsburyTheologicalSeminary, prior to 1970 and many afterwards. The Seminary is founded on the purity and holiness preaching of John Wesley and Francis Asbury. Asbury did not get married to enable him to preach the Gospel all over America. He sacrificed his whole life for this sole purpose. He used to ride from city to city on a horse. He left an astounding divine legacy. God does not forget this.

@@petratical Yes, they named the theological seminary after him. His life story is absolutely marvellous. He sacrificed his life for the Gospel. This is the main reason he never married. He wanted to be 100% free to spread the Word of God. How wonderful!
