Thanks to this video, I was playing CW3 again after a long hiatus. While it took a few tries, this was a fun level. Don’t know if I want to try Sleeper levels yet, but these Gate levels seem like a lot of fun.

Not really. I found that after the magnificence of PF it gets really old really quickly. Or maybe it just wasn't as interesting as rewatching Co-optional Lounge in the background. Or maybe I got mad at "Mortars, baby" after the "hybrid" horseshit that PAC map creators throw together, like "super cannon AC reactors" and "super mortar lasers".

I cringe every time I see you building collectors on these types of maps reactors! reactors and relays! collectors are only as good as the amount of flat terrain they have access to, and these maps don't have any. you start with a siphon so you can kickstart your reactor production

yeah, reactors at the start before 2 terps is definitely the way to go.

Though with the death releases of 2 starting emitters it can be seen as worthwhile to not bother with either the reactors and the siphon until they're dead. Otherwise they just wash your power off, which is not exactly critical, but it's not too fun either.

yeah, that's why i build a layer 5 wall between them, since there is only like 0.05 creeper that reaches it, so there isn't enough to flood even one layerup.

Since people are talking about debuff towers. BRNK its easy to actually control those nasty -5 and -3 down. You just wall off debuff tower with one yellow emitter. Because your wall is actually +9 max, it won't up to +10 it will just remove one level every time you try it. And well, even if you wall off debuff alone, your output of creep will just overflow even a wall and end up getting that -5 and -3. The way you nullify it is to wall off with one yellow creeper emitter. And you set.

just played this yesterday, i really love yum234 maps, stargate type and other. try also from yum234 the map #5881. cw3 with cw2 elements. awesome, not hard but different at the beginning

I wanted to say this earlier but like terrain 1 height is just 1 high but 2 is like 30 and 3 at 60 etc

In my first CSM maps 1 terrain heght corresponded to 10, but then I increased it to 1=50, last CSM maps - 1=100.

this 1 is hard also the longer you play the less space you have for your commandcenter. Becausse even iff it has the highest walls its still floods over which whill be very annoying and costing you buildspace

It is a pretty interesting mechanic someone modded into the game. I had to back up and play older, simpler versions to learn how it works, then this play through..... I think this was the 4th or 5th try? It is like an optimization puzzle

I am amazed, honestly. Seeing how much videos you make on CW, i did not expect you to be that bad with the game. Took me 3 attempts to figure the map out. And no, i did not watch your walkthrough first. For example, you don't need your command center for the AC to be produced. Just let it die, and wait for AC to clear the place. Simple as that.
