This is for the new Ultra series isn't it? There's no way they change to another socket for the next CPU. Not unless whoever in charge is lacking a couple brain cells. AMD is cleaning them out in desktop sales, in part because of being able to drop in a CPU without needing a new board.

I really like the fact that you remove all those heatsink and shows the M.2 alignment. Would you know by chance where is the gap in cm between M.2_3 to M.2_4? I'm guessing 1 cm, but it could be 2 cm

I love the white Apex boards. But won't buy Intel anytime soon. Going to ditch my vanilla Z790 Apex and 14900k for a 9800x3d and a white x870e board. I only game. And AMD's X3D's are the gaming CPU's right now.

2, which is the perfect number. DDR5 doesn't really work well with more than 2 sticks so having 2 slots is all that is needed. The benefit of a board having just 2 slots is that it gets better memory performance and stability and allows for higher speeds more easily. I really wish more boards were 2 slot.

for faster photo rendering I think or for other software works, some photo renderers I know who keep taking photos of stars and rendering the high quality of the image he caught. the system he needs is a faster mhz of ram speed. this is why this board is capable of reaching more than 8000+ mhz of ram speed and also for gaming which can increase more than 30+ fps compared to standard 6000mhz safe spot for 2 sticks
