Deep purple 💜!!!!!!
@annemaclean66345 ай бұрын
OMG, this song brings back many memories, I had the album Deep Purple in Rock as did a lot of my friends. This song was our favourite, I think I must have worn the track out, playing it so much, I just loved it! I remember you and Patrick reacted to my request of 'Highway Star' live, and it was brilliant!! Ritchie Blackmore's guitar solos are just epic!! By the way, George, I mentioned the Danish rock/metal band Volbeat recently, they are amazing and I've been listening to them a lot! Their latest album Servant of the Mind (2021) has got some fantastic songs on it, for example 'Shotgun Blues', 'Temple of Ekur', 'Step Into Light' and a brilliant Metallica cover 'Don't Tread on Me'. The songs are heavy rock and superb in my opinion! Take care George and please pass on my very best wishes to Patrick. Oh, and please tell him that I hope he is still enjoying wearing the shirts I sent, I know he liked the Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Motorhead ones! I like to think that he's still wearing them, after all, that's why I sent them, and for you as well, George!

Love this song. Saw them perform this live in the late 70’s. Amazing. Singer Ian Gillan was the original Jesus in the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. I saw that too. Killer. Hey, where is your bro? I hope all is well.

I saw them do this song live! Hard to imagine how amazing it was live! Thanks George, love your reactions! Say hi to Patrick! 😀 For on your own, here’s a link to a really amazing 1970 live concert of Child in time. Ian’s voice on this one is incredible and he hits all the notes perfectly! kzbin.info/www/bejne/haDVi5aFr7OWnacsi=v1z5kAO0N3vf2m65

You've covered so many good pieces. If you love guitar, then you may want to try out the original Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac with Albatross, Black Magic Woman, Green Manalishi, or just one of him jamming with Danny. And have you covered Zeppelin's Since ive been loving? Give Chris Rea's Highway to Hell a go too. And Gary Moore is amazing guitarist

Omgoodness guys, I can't believe you've never reacted to Meatloaf. We have to change that right away. It's great Rock Opera. Bat Out Of Hell by Meatloaf. I also noticed no Toby Keith. What! Courtesy of the Red White and Blue (An Angry American). American Soldier. How Do You Like Me Now. Red Solo Cup. I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again. Me Too. Who's That Man. I Should Have Been A Cowboy. Trailerhood. As Good As I Once Was. He Ain't Worth Missing. Wish I Didn't Know Now. I Wanna Talk About Me. Too Little Too Late. Who's Your Daddy. I Love This Bar. We Were In Love. Beer For My Horses. Cryin For Me. Don't Let The Old Man In. When You Kiss Me Like This. He had 30 some number one songs and some of them are hilarious and some are ballads. All are fantastic.

You should check out the 1978 to 1982 band and lineup of Whitesnake. This was before they transitioned to the “Hairband” version and lineup of Whitesnake in 1987. Most of Whitesnake’s biggest hits during the hairband days were rerecorded versions from the 1978 to 1982 blues based years and lineup which included David Coverdale, Jon Lord, and Ian Paice from Deep Purple. This is my favorite version of Whitesnake. David Coverdale and Bernie Marsden were the best songwriting partners since Lennon and McCartney. 😉 From Whitesnake’s 1982 album Saints and Sinners came the song “Here I Go Again” written by David Coverdale and Bernie Marsden.

Okay, but this song was always about Ians vocals, and here he is just an aging shell of what he was. The 1970 live version from the BBC studios is so much better, it is a different song. lol

Would like for you to react to more Queen. Many tracks yet to go. How about White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Dragon Attack live Montreal 1975. Now I’m Here live at Wembley and I’m in Love with my Car live at Montreal 1981 (Roger sings this and barely has time to breath).
