Bro I went to my first club in dc about 20 years ago n when I tell u i fell in love with the way the dc girls dance on u to gogo…. BRUHHHH OMG I didn’t want to leave lmaooo. N I’m from Bmore too west side born n raised!! But I spent time in dc growing up too oxon hill n by Howard university my sister went to school out there n my brothers n step sister was out there too n all that stuff. Major love to the whole dmv!!! Including Bmore!!!!

Been a Back fan since 93!!! Uptown raised...I was at the Picnic last year, wishing I was there. BYB is homegrown and we love them for their contributions to DC. Go-Go is our sound and will always be our native sound. It was born and raised in the Chocolate City!!!

Going to a out of town gogo hit wayyy different! The vibes are dope!!! I did the gogo takeover on southbeach and thoroughly enjoyed it!!!! It was cool meeting people who werent from the dmv area liking our music as well…… definitely got check them out at the roots picnic !

Time for their T.V. appearance....no slight against the bands who did it 1st but it's time to concede and I don't think their is even a comparison of the 2 bands any longer....but the next time an awards show wants to showcase a go go band....Give Back that chance or rather RE and EU should've conceded that ...we had people all over the place asking if we still listening to that old "doin da butt" and we don't. Go Go can move on it's own now....that little appearance really didn't do a thing for go go it hasn't already done. Backyard is in the drivers seat now.
