This show pulls at the heart strings and pushes you from side to side with the highs and lows of this small town. I miss Broadchurch. This was a show that made me rethink great TV like Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, Sherlock. Great job capturing the emotions of the Latimers. Top notch video.

I liked they showed Mark crashing due to his grief, it made sense that he spent so long bottling it up to be strong for Beth and Chloe. But I don't like the fact that they ended it with them divorcing. I feel like Mark leaving Chloe and Lizzie made no sense with his character arc. In season 2 he saw Lizzie as a chance to fix his mistakes he made the first time around, so it didn't make sense for him to leave. I feel like they should have left Broadchurch as a family, it would have given them a fresh start away from all the memories. Mark writing the book made no sense either.

Ol I totally wanted them to stay together. He and Beth were by far the best couple on the show. Not because of all the fighting, but because of how hard they fought to stay together. I spoiled it for myself knowing they split up. So I decided season 2 is the last season I watched, just because that season ended with them being happy. Also, I think season 2 tied everything up. I would have liked to have seen them decide to move out of BroadChurch as a family, get a fresh start away from all the memories.

Jodie is brilliant, both here and in Doctor Who. But Chibal... this show was so amazing, beautiful. How come you can write like this, but you don't show it in Doctor Who? Instead everything is rushed at the end of each episode and sloppy.
