Nice to see the "Greek" sign behind him, another of my favorite shows he apparently directed. With the Luke coming to the hospital and helping them, I always notice the same pattern happening on other shows. Like on Stranger Things when Steve shows up and ends up helping Nancy and John, or in the show Outer Banks (which has a lot of OC elements in it) the same thing happens with the character Topper. I'm sure it shows up in other shows too, just kind of interesting.

Melinda mentions that she can’t remember if she did a scene with Adam Brody. It made me think of two scenes with them, one is episode “The Nana” when Marissa escapes to Chino. At the very beginning of the episode when Ryan and Luke come back to the pool house after driving around looking for Marissa, and see Seth sleeping by the phone. Julie then walks in and there is sort of a group confrontation. The other one is after Luke’s accident in episode “the proposal “, Kirsten hears about luxe accident over the phone, and Julie happens to be next to her, Kirsten retells to Julie what has happened, and Julie goes “yeah it probably happened due to everything with his father,” and Seth looks at Julie and says in a sarcastic way “yeah that’s probably it”. I am really bringing out my true inner fan here because this is all from memory and I don’t have my DVDs right now. 😅

Love the O.C Im watching now in season 2 episode of where lance comes into the picture with julies porn from the 80ty's and julie asks cal for the money and he gets lance beaten up and in the mean time there is a hugh birthday party from TREA going on at the mansion ,i love the show upset that it went off the air after 4 seasons it could of gone for another 10 years ,miss it but thats the good thing about having it on the DVD you can watch it over and over again and never get sick of watching it , one of my favourite shows!!

what a bs with diversity... today it will be more diverse... yea, it will be, but today "diversity" is forced everywhere. People who create story based on their experience, will cast actors matching this experience, similar with historic films - you shouldn't get black king of England because there wasn't one. Same bs with friends series... cmon, really, was it such uncommon in the 90s to have group of several white friends that have white family? Regarding OC - Melinda has lived close to OC, right? so where there rich black kids in the OC at that time? I guess not and that is why Josh has not added such characters to the show. It is that simple. Only the thing that you mentioning the "diversity" says that it is forced, cause if it would be natural, noone would even thought about it.

Imo Mischa was too young & mentally immature/inexperienced to become an actress at that age. Maybe she also wants to steal focus from the Podcast... who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️
