It's always good when manufactures are interested in feedback from the customers. And are willing to make changes if necessary.

Encouraging to see them reaching out. They have a lot of ground to make up, but I hope they do meet or exceed their competition.

Perhaps they see the writing on the wall that Scaletrains is coming and that on models which both companies have the tooling to do, not many people will pick BLI right now. This is why I was so excited for the Scaletrains acquisition of MTH tooling because it will force some competition into the steam market which has been lacking greatly over the past decade.

@@RodimusPrime Agreed. ScaleTrains producing Diecast HO steam with Loksound decoders and the MTH smoke units is going to set a new standard in RTR HO steam IMHO. I'd love to see BLI get on that level. I'm a NYC and PRR steam fan, but I have never been happy with the BLI sound and smoke. If they can get to that level, I'll buy multiple #s of every NYC and PRR engine they care to release. This is what I've been waiting for to get back into HO. It comes at a good time for me as 2R O scale RTR steam is basically dead now.

I just filled it out just today before seeing this video. Got this Survey as a BLI ad on FB.

BLIs pricing, bad decoders, and frequent damages make brass actually more economical imo since I never have a problem that I can’t fix by myself

I will say the failure rate on Paragon 4 has been improved over 2 and 3. I'd still pick a BLI over 40 year old brass though. Pricing is getting out of control, especially on the E6 that just came out

@@RodimusPrime True. Not to mention the rarity of brass and rising pricing of brass. Plus some brass models inner mechanics might be worn out or unreliable.

I just purchased my first BLI locomotive in many years. I had problems with Paragon3 acting wonky at the club, as did some other members. But when I saw the Pennsy E6s 4-4-2 I had to have one. It works well, although I had issue programming it on a programming track. After several resets using the button in the tender I went and used Program on Main instead. It s runs nice, but I don't know if I'll buy any more BLI Paragon4 models. I like that the questionnaire asks about non-sound/non-smoke DCC ready models. Back in the days of QSI Paragon they offered "Stealth" models which were DCC ready. Hopefully they'll offer them again.

In the comments I put "just bite the bullet and use ESU decoders." 😂

One of my Paragon3 locos just right out the box just flat out did not work n i tried everything. the only good BLI engine i have is my GG1... thankfully it works. but I really wish their steam locos actually preform better with their insane price tag

For the question asking about P4 would recycled sounds and needing improvement be a good reply

The sound is awful I agree

Hello. You communicate with the manufacturer of BLI models, ask them why they do not supply their models of steam locomotives to Russia?
